" Crit is a total waste on that passive tree. You would be trying to force to much into it which would seriously undermine your EHP value's. I only took the witch crit nodes to proq "elemental overload" with orb of storms. But if it remains like it is now, those points can be ignored since orb of storm seems to proq it just fine without crit investment. The 40% more elemental damage is going to be better then any crit investment you could put into it, considering the base increase% you get i think. For hc, scrap crit on this idea. rather invest in additional layers of defense or utility. IF you want more deeps, get a vinktar staff(forgot their name, but west/east/south/north staffs etc) for another 20% lightning pen. (would lose an ES shield for EB/MoM though) Another note : the trap support gem doesn't seem to be changed, which imply's it still has it's base 3 second cooldown. Not entirely sure how this will impact clearspeed for this build. My instinct tells me it will be fine because of how spark functions itself. However, with a staff and body armor it seems reasonable to run 2 trap set-ups and an additional vaal spark 4-link.(5-link in certain gear slots) Hope this was helpful. ps : don't steal my gear :'(( Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

I will try to build a coc-staff Berserker, because i like 2h marauders ;D
Probaply Moltenstrike+ CoC+ Durationspells, 2 Auras or Heralds in rings, and the remaining sockets full of Cast on damage taken. Maybe MoM if im to squishy, but works against savage hit ;<. Im to nub to tell how much krit staff can reach, at least its global krit. Anyways, Feedback apriciated. https://www.pathofexile.com/fullscreen-passive-skill-tree/AAAAAwEBAecEBwSzBUII9A3ND6sRLRNxFCAUTRZAFm8WvxiRGjgczh0UIG4i9CSLJpUqOCtQLJwy0TQxPAU9Xz38QXJBlkVHRZ1JsUyzUDBQQlBHUlNTNVNSVUtVtVXGWGNYrlnzXqVfP2HiZp5nm2pDbAttGXIPcql8g4PbhX2MNozPj0aQVZJ9kyeXlZf0mG-a4J7Nn8uiAKcIpzCsqq4-rrOvp7yavJ_AVMBmwQTDOsT2xq7G2Mln0PXXz9wj42rkUeXP6-7tRO8O73zviPZI9zL5N_rS-4v8S_5U Last edited by Pwnzors87#5366 on Mar 3, 2016, 3:38:47 AM

Dual totem sparker Highlight: 1. 100% pierce chance from tree 2. High projectile speed (for shit and giggle) 3. Utilize spell totem with aura Here's my tree: http://www.poeplanner.com/AAAAAwBn42okqjbpFm98g1LsefZDNipbkydtGVorWOWj8sMTiEJBh7c-EZYabJ2upwgOSCL08pfC7IIee8OomptdNj3-CvJF_o864aZXNZJN49i9-tKFMmwLH0HrYxEvKwoDHmyMnapirMHFES33wV3ySVHw1ZUuBx7AVAj0vOq4kxzcjxqa4EWdU1IdvgPuM4f5N0mx18_viCycZp60xSj6gsfr7n_G2wtqQ9H9Xl2nlPnoLYsfxyt4WlJKyG6qtfJkhAag-b0_J1-YWW3PMjxLwXykoKI-WBeXIXtuhwc= *Scion (Ascendant) --> Hierophant + Deadeye Gem Setup: **I know enduring cry does not work with cwdt. I slappped it there cuz of inc. duration 6L : Spell totem - spark - faster casting - faster projectile - lightning pen - controlled destruction 4L : Cwdt - enduring cry - immortal call - increased duration 4L *Helm*: Spell totem - Haste - Anger - Wrath 4L : Cwdt - Vaal Haste - Increase duration - Arctic Breath *Vaal Haste is overlevel so cwdt will not work with the skill. 3L : Flame Dash - faster casting - conductivity 3L : HoT - HoI - Discipline Gear: Dual wand (for projectile speed) + 1 x Ancient Waystones Not sure about this. tree is not finalize after all, but from my experience, it probably gonna work. . . |

After a year of not playing I returned for a bit to do some new achievements and to test some skills I missed.
So far I am liking Blade Vortex the most but it is a such a strange spell. With physical and spell synergies. So I wonder what Ascendency class should be good with it. Inquisitor maybe ? Or some weird Scion combinations. The skill is changed in the patch too. Not sure if it's nerf or buff. |

" I'd be a little bit worried about you damage tho. You're getting 28% Spell damage and 12% cast speed. Since you go EB you can reserve your entire mana. I take you will run Wrath and Haste yourself and cast an Anger totem every now and then to increase your damage? |

" Option 1) Necromancer - witch. -Double cybil paws for 8life gain on spell hit - use bone offering for increased block/spell% and life gain on block (block adds double dps% per cybil paws 8%spell dps per 5% block) Get some zombie's for agro + physical mitigation and the 40% increased damage per corpse consumed Option 2) Pathfinder - ranger get poison while using flasks's (removes poison gem from links) get surgeons on all flasks + bleed removal Very gear locked because of unique flasks $$$, but will be incredibly potent if done correctly. Those are the two best options that will achieve high end-game EHP while having good dps options. All other's are glass-canon end-game wise in my opinion. Feel free to send me a PM if you need a passive tree mash-up and i will see what i can do. (both require a good understanding of game mechanics i think and pathfinder requires solid flask control to function and shine) Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

I was thinking of doing a Scion archer dual ballista armor/evasion iron grip Trickyphant.
Hierophant node gives me an additional ballista in the helmet slot and some energy shield, which the trickster node uses to determine the increase in evasion and damage. Then add some rain of arrows traps and I can set up a kill zone around those Perandus strongboxes before opening them. "Into the Labyrinth!
left step, right step, step step, left left. Into the Labyrinth!" |
|
" Siege Ballista is probably one of the single builds that will be using Scion - Hierophant. You can use a Rain of Splinter jewel and corrupt your quiver to +1 Arrow so you don't need LMP/GMP and thus make it somewhat viable on a 4Link. |
|
" you can place it inside a BoR for additional flat physical dps and faster attacks/blind. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

So a final Sum-up of my best potential candidates for this league.
These will include the ascendancy points, so i don't think they will load on the main page. Blood magic occultist Scionic Trap-Sparker (Dead-eye/saboteur) The whispering saboteur (Ci/whispering ice/trapper) Scionic Self-cast no-cost-sparker (dead-eye/elementalist) Scionic Critical speed reaver (raider/assassin) Keep in mind, these are projections for the build and require a lot of points to complete, they will change based on actual performance in the game. These merely serve as a blue-print on which the concept is based. They are also by no means "meta" though they can be if so desired. They are however, fun and mechanically in depth and tuned to run end-game content. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
