The 1000th fishing ... Rhoa Feather thread (Update with new theory May 7, 2017)

This picture was made at 2013:07:04 17:19:04+12:00 (You just can use a metadata online view. Use google to find such a homepage if you want to check the creation date of the picture.)
So perhaps this picture show when fishing got possible (to catch the missing 4th fish), or the 4th fish appear if you are equipped with the correct fishing items? If additional items for fishing are needed, perhaps THIS is the time to look for fishing items.

There is a player (I am not sure if it is allowed to write his name) who links to the same pictures as reaction to the question how fishing could work. This player is a Diamond Supporter. But there is no items connected with his name (You can read all Supporter Items here)

Interesting is that this date (Jun 19, 2013 ) is only a short time before the official picture was released.

I think the player tells us the truth. We need a unique items from about this time which is not (official) created from a Diamond Supporter (With his name at the item we would find the correct item very fast), so what can it be? So lets use the unique timeline on about that date:

Here I think you should not expect that you equip the correct item and that your character can perform a fishing move. I would expect more that you just play (with the fishing rod, the feathers (3 for example), Slitherpinch) and the unknown item and that somehow a fish drop appear. Or that you need to drop the feather in the water to find fishing spots or kill a boss in the water or something like that.

GGG doesn't give items to players, ever, under any circumstances that I'm aware of, so no I wasn't given a rod. Also just to make sure we've got this straight, GGG indirectly confirmed that the unique rod wasn't my creation, so there would be no reason to give me one, even though I don't think they would have done even if it was my creation, which it isn't (and I still don't even have the damn unique rod yet anyway, despite my best efforts). Also if (as some people have claimed) rods were only added in the last patch, then it wouldn't have been possible to give me one before that anyway.

No idea, perhaps just a hint to the capture the flag mode? But why the blood additional to the flag?

The picture itself does deliver some Information. (Too bad that the player did not made a screenshot of all his items he used. THAT is what you should do if you find a secret like Krillson. Post a picture of the secret and of ALL the items you used. And if you have done special actions before like killing all monsters in the area, or opening all eggs in the Mud Flat...) Attention: It is the map Layout with the fish head-island. (I tested it)
Furthermore is the date very interesting again. The picture was posted on Feb 15, 2014 7:14:01. This is a significant hint for a date when fishing was clearly possible. This means that there is a good chance that the Diamond Supporter (mentioned in one_fish_missing.jpg theory) got his item latest at this date. Looking in the Announcements Forum shows, that at this time patch 1.1.0 was active.
