Why is it that players who dont play standard

Protip: The best way to make money in Standard is to wait for a Temp League to end.

" ![]() As an off-topic extension of this thread: I know people who should be allowed to drink at age of 16, and I know people who shouldn't be allowed to drink EVER. Saying that pushing the line to legally drink from 21 to 18 "made negative social outcomes" is silly at best. People who don't know how to drink will do something stupid, instead. The difference is nobody is going to link it to anything, thus making it look "better" in their silly statistics. In other words: stupidity and malice will always do damage, no matter what kind of law you try to implement. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

i dont claim to know anything about standard nor will i be stepping one foot in it unless im testing stuff with ripped characters.
Each to there own and who cares. |

" What makes you think you are entitled to anything other players own? People like you are sad. |
|
" I'd rather not give my stuff away, even tho I'm not playing Standard. At least, not all of it (I'm keeping the best gear to myself). What you say sounds like these people, who get money for not having a job, yet they do nothing to find one. They expect to get stuff for free, and get used to it. At some point they are so entitled to getting that, they calculate if it is "worth" for them to start working, because they'd be "taken away" the money. If you want to play Standard - play Standard. Don't play Standard, because you expect to get free stuff from Temp League players. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

" It doesn't hurt to ask. Obviously they want a free lunch, but they aren't jobless like you make them out to be. Standard players do give stuff away, but they can only give stuff to their own league. Players on Temp league do play on standard, some just don't admit it. |
|
" I give away stuff myself, I just don't want to see anyone moaning that I'm not giving away everything. Because I should, for some reason. Asking is ok, but arguing that Temp League players should be giving away stuff to Standard players is just broken logic. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

^it's surprisingly hard to give away stuff i find.
Whenever i delete a char, i go to act1 and go "trade" with randoms just dumping everything in the trade windows. Usually takes like up to 6 people before somebody wants to accept. For some reason they always want to offer something in return, usually it's a wisdom scrap or scroll. All ends well but it takes way to long when i am just looking to hand it out for freeby's. I'll never forget the dude i gave my 1 week solo race gear to, guy was ecstatic and couldn't believe it. Feels good to give. Well for me at least I think it's just generally a better act than just letting your own Temp League gather e-dust. Basically treating it like Characters in Races being sent to void. While I don't stop playing in Standard (Standard League is my only Hideout that doesn't look like an empty ghost library) if I did stick exclusively to Temp Leagues I'd give away my stuff in Standard just so some new players or players not in the Elite Group be able to afford some more stuff in Standard.
