Why is it that players who dont play standard
Have loud opinions about what not to do with it?
Like not have offline trading / 1click buyout. Only way the economy on standard would improve without any trade system is when there are a LOT more players and the trade scene is active. People play leagues because of the fresh economy at the same time you dont admit you want a fresh economy because standard economy is broken.. You don't want to fix standard's economy nor do you want to play in it. I don't understand this mentality. Domine Non Es Dignus Last bumped on Jan 5, 2017, 7:09:20 AM

the same people who argue so passionately and with a lot of vigor are the ones who keep saying standard is a dumpster league and no one wants to play in it.

It IS a dumpster league.
It IS where shit is dumped. It IS where the economy isn't exactly a friendly thing. Dys an sohm Rohs an kyn Sahl djahs afah Mah morn narr Last edited by Coconutdoggy on Feb 7, 2016, 7:58:16 PM

Because those that don't give a flying fuck about it don't discuss it. And those that care for whatever reasons are the only one you can see.

The "I don't do that, therefore it's bad" logic is a common thing out there.
Sadly, it extends way more than just games. Welcome to earth. PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A REPLY

There are many other reasons we prefer temp leagues. Here's some:
1. No need to deal with sorting stash tabs. 2. A fresh start with an empty stash and building it up is far more rewarding than starting a new character with a stash full of years worth of accumulated crap. 3. Challenges make for good short term goals. 4. New league mechanics. |

" exactly its the same people who are against any sort of improvement on trading on standard they wont let GG put in AH and at the same time they wont play in it. They complain about economy going down and say ah will speed it up? But it is already sped up , they haven't been playing standard to know the difference on how much it has sped up. The only other way to fix standard economy without ggg intervention to make anything new is to just increase standard player base. Increase in trading scene will eventually even out the economy. good point (that both leagues should be treated differently regarding trading).
permanent league's new trading mechanism should have a higher fee for putting one item for trade. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
