GGG, hates Marauders & melee? Juggernaut sucks, Berserker is retarded; now Chieftain is a totem

Berserker with todays update actually turned into a solid IW based caster option. If you want to go fire spells and/or RF go for Chieftain; if you want to go cold/lightning you go Berserker.
If you do the numbers: If you can inlcude RF into a Berserker without sacrificing too much defenses and can cope with the "10% increased damage taken" - Berserker will always be the better choice for an Iron Will caster damage-wise. |

Berserker as IW caster is a neat combo however it means one node is pretty much wasted (first from the 40% more damage chain) and remaining nodes are not really substantial for IW casters
The chieftain looks fun. It might turn out pretty bonkers with auto-damaging-totems. Bonus to fire damage and fire leech sounds pretty great for FaceBreakers or Avatar of fire builds (10% fire pen - tasty) I would not dis this class too early. It fits nicely with melee (infernal blow, molten strike, Oro's), totems (well.. totems, both offensively and defensively), RF-damage and RF-caster/totems and maybe Detonate Dead ill try out facebreaker / infernal blow / damaging totems (with whack-a-mole totem if it works with unarmed) + chance to ignite (the node names are really weird to pronounce) |

And to be perfectly honest, if you're expecting Marauder-specific buffs to single-handedly fix melee, then you're either short-sighted or selfish. " That's problem, global "melee" and melee related sucks and will do later, until GGG grow some balls to do something with it, maybe make them REAL tanky and most safe class in game (for real), or gave highest possible AOE in game, or highest possible skyrocket movement speed (base or by node, or anyhow), maybe something else that would be insane strong (same or even more broken than brokenfall and CoC now).
