Honestly Melee does destroy everything, the game in general just got a lot easier recently. However ranged likely just destroyes everything + 1 and is more fun to play.

Berserker though gives exactly the traits you would want on a Melee build. Heavy hits won't stun you since you receive stun immunity when you are hit by them, that means you can instantly leech back.

Also 100% increased Cooldown recovery means half cooldown, not no cooldown.

I agree, on it self berserker looks quite alright. My eyebrow only rises when compared to ranged ascendancies. They seem to get +1 here as well. But what ever ..
I think that berserker lack a touch of epicness and better synergies.

Some other class examples :
Hierophant : Pursuit of faith (bonus on kill by you or your totem, bonus on totem active) synergize with Ritual of Awakening (two more totem, less totem damage). Having more totem will help you to make more kill and have more bonus.

Saboteur : Blinding assaut (chance to create smoke cloud, chance to blind on hit) synergize with Born in the Shadow (bonus against blinded enemies)

Raider : Quartz infusion synergize with Avatar of Phasing, Rapid assault with Avatar of Onslaught

And so on. Many of the ascendancy classes have this sort of synergy, and it's great. But i don't have the feeling that the berserker tree offer the same thing. There is not real link between Pain Reaver and Cloaked in Savagery, and it's the same for Crave The Slaughter and Aspect of Carnage.

The synergies are, for me, one of the greatest aspect of the ascendancy trees. So Berserker lacks something here. Also, there is not the feeling of something new like others classes could offers.

The berserker or any class itself is a big boost no matter what, but compared RELATIVELY to each sub class, berserker is just horrible. Nothing special about it, period.

In terms of actual game play feedback, clearly it's safe to say you play in a different 'world' than I do. I may be harsh and strong in the feedback as I fight for the view and interests of the ignored base I belong to and I've been RIGHT on pretty much everything balance related, not that you care since you can't or won't relate.

I don't need a response, are you dense? All I'd like is some good balance and common sense results once in a while by acting on the same feedback from many others, in whatever way you want, straight-up and no BS to begging. Whatever.

PS. You might want to keep your ego in check a little, you think you're the only capable millionaire (?) contributor in this game?

Berserker is super inconsistent. What with colosseum map? What with boss who don't spawn adds like Daresso? Most of bonuses will be off. They will be always off when you start new fight because you stopped to pick up something.

In what Berserker will be good? He can be pretty good as RT bow user.

But I really like Juggernaut. Why i like Juggernaut?
Pick undeniable and unbreakable -> buy Abyssus. Now you can easy get 200% crit multi, 30k armour without granit and play like freaking barbarian!

I think you got the word 'lame' from a quote of mine in the op, but that quote is somewhat out of context. I was responding to somebody who said a different one of the newly released ascendencies was lame and I was syaing I thought Berserker was the lame one out of the three. Not that it was completely lame. Just relatively lame.

But as far as your point about the 100% leech, unless they change how leech works or you have instant leech, 100% is no different than any other percent. You still get the life at 20% of your max life per second. So, what benefit do you really see? If your max life is 5k, your leech comes at 1000 life per second. It doesn't matter how mich leech you have. You get that leech at 1000 life per second. Plus most marauders take unwavering stance, so stuns are never an issue.

100% LL is nothing in this game without Vaal Pact or tremendous investment in LL rate. With 50k dps I don't think you can see any difference between 2% and 100% LL.
Btw. If you lose +20% max life in one blow you don't care about LL. You care about instant flask...

I absolutely agree. Both marauder classes seem really underpar, at least compared to other ascendancy classes. The Berserker will be "take the 100% leech node -> pick up The Retch for an insane 200% damage multiplier on flask use against pretty much bosses only," or otherwise be worthless. The only other node that is noteworthy is Aspect of Carnage, but you're getting about 20% more damage for the trade of taking 10% more damage, and note that it's all damage, not just physical - pretty fucking terrible.

So, unless they move the location of Vaal Pact back to where it was, the only reason to take this class over another is if you plan on wearing The Retch (league specific unique), Acuities (lol), or Retch + Vinktars combo. I think anybody would agree that pigeonholing is awful design.

Since they nerfed life leech, berserker will use it kinda cool, and the thing that gives u 100 LL on hard hit is imo the most op skill ever released or announced by ggg.
