Keystone Brainstorming

Living for the battle.
You steal 5% HP with every hit.
Loses 5% of your current life every second.
Converts energy shield to HP.
Energy Absorption: Chance to Block applied to spells, when blocked: damage after resistances is added to Energy Shield.

Sword and Board ES dex characters :D

Your chance to block only applies to spells
A success block adds the mana cost to increase your ES and Mana by the same amount.
Insanity is overrated unless you join me in mine.
Here is a simple idea for a keystone passive, perhaps around the marauder tree.

Juggernaught
-Converts all armor value to base health
-Physical damage reduction is now 0

This is the tank equivalent to avatar of fire (+health and +armor now stack on your health). Physical damage reduction is now 0 ensures that endurance charges do not give physical damage reduction either. This does not affect evasion or block chance.

I apologize if this idea has already been posted.

I see you, you don't see me
All areas are now like caves. The area is all dark and the light around the character is the only light
-50% to light radius
All enemies inside the light radius have a -25% attack, cast, and run speed
All enemies outside the light radius have a +25% attack, cast, and run speed

Mind in the Ethereal
+200% to all mana costs
+300% to all spell damage

Armor Weakness Analyzer Needs a better name
One handed swords and daggers only
-25% attack speed
Reduce all enemies armor values by 33%

I image a set of keystones. Don't have those yet. They play into each other, or it approves on one already. Or can be selected if another one has been
I know the names needs changed for this. I couldn't of anything really 'magicy' names

LOIC
One every 5 minutes, a random on screen enemy will struck with a magical light. They lose have their current health.
It will never hit an unique enemy.

Solar Collector
This can be selected only if LOIC has been selected.
Reduce cool down time of LOIC to 2.5 minutes

Focusing Array
This can be selected only if LOIC has been selected.
The enemy struck will be killed

Insanity is overrated unless you join me in mine.
Can we go in the other direction with the keystone and unique item relations?

Voll's Herald - Gain power charge on critical hit, -50% maximum mana.


Just put it somewhere between the templar and witch, far enough away from power charge clusters that there's still some cost to using the keystone instead of the unique armor.

As an added bonus, intrepid players can stack keystone and armor for 2 charges per crit, at the cost of -75% max mana :D.
Restless Legs
When using a skill, you may begin moving again after half of it has been completed, but cannot use a new skill until it is fully completed.

-15% Movement Speed

I don't know if it would mess up animations or what, but I think this passive would be good for kiting characters.

Here are the combat format keystones I made. Almost half of them might not scale well enough or go against some fundamental design tenant that was unmentioned, but I believe they are all workable.

Versatile Grip
When wielding a one-handed weapon and nothing in the other hand, it counts as wielding both one-handed and two-handed weapon (if this proves weak, it can count as dual-wielding aswell).

Two-Handed Casting
When both hands are empty spells gain +100% Cast speed and +100% Spell Damage.

Wand-Master
All single-target spells become Wand attacks and are applied on-hit.

Focused Fire
Every consecutive ranged attack on a target without missing or hitting another target deals an additional 50% damage. -50% Attack Speed.

Frenzied Style
You gain +100% Max charges. Their duration is decreased to 50%
ADHD
You have 25% increased movement speed, 25% increased attack speed, and 25% increased cast speed.
You cannot stand still unless you are attacking, casting, or under the effect of a mana flask.
