On one hand, I want to say its an awesome idea. On the other hand, this and Iron Reflexes basically gives archers melee level of tanking.

" Nice idea, Ive always wanted to use something other then a quiver. The only problem I see is that it could be a little over powering. I mean, bows are 2-handed so I would seem a little weird to be able to use an offhand with a 2-handed weapon. I think it needs a draw-back, because right now there would be no reason not to take it. Alchemist's Boon: Cannot Leech Attacks, 50% increased flask effectiveness, flasks last 50% longer
Firestarter: All Fire attacks have a 50% chance to ignite, enemies deal fire damage in a radius to other enemies as they burn (think d2 rabies without the passing it along when burning). Permafrost: Frozen enemies don't shatter, +50% increased chill duration on enemies, 50% of cold damage becomes physical. Stalking: Characters do more damage with spells/attacks when use while above 75% mana. Master of All: For every 10 str/dex/int (must be all three), receive a 4% increase in speeds/damages/armors (theirs nothing currently promoting a triple stat character) Swift Incantations: For every 5 Dex and int, +1% cast speed Swift Strikes: For every 5 Dex and Str, +1% attack speed -Meteoric Destiny! Maximum Energy Shield reduced by 50%. Melee damage leeches Energy Shield at a rate of 1% per 10 Intelligence. Mental Strength Maximum Mana permanently set to 100. Mana regeneration increased by 1 per X Strength. |

" yes, a shattering effect was what was in my mind. If the damage is split into equal parts for every shard it shatters, %maxHP may be ok for it as value. invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

" possible drawbacks: - slower arrows - less damage or decreasing accuracy - drains some life (more effort since you have 1 arm less (beside this additionals, the missing of the quiver itself is a drawback for the bow damage - changed into some defensive bonus a ranged char maybe never really needs/should need) invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

-1quiver +1armguard sounds interesting.
It also makes me wonder why we would need a keystone for this one, why shouldn´t this be accessabel to all classes ? Atleast as i see it, INT-classes are more connected to armguards, in their eyes it would make sense to equipp a armguard. Or, to further the differences between classes: Ranger = Quiver Dex/int = Quiver or Armguard Witch = Armguard Templer = Armguard or Bolts Marauder = Bolts Duelist = Quiver or Bolts ---------- Barbarian You cant wear Helmets and Armors You are immun to spells just as an example would make more sense as an keystone, you switch out defensive powers and gemslots for immunitys --> bigger impact on character than the above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drDs-Y5DNH8
