Suggestion: one exalted (guaranteed drop) every 100 hours of play
I've had 4 exalted orbs drop for me in Talisman, I have another 4 I've gained from trading.
If I count all the potential exalts I have in currency and maps I'd have another 5. I also have just over 1000 hours played on steam. I would not like to see free exalts for just idling in town. |

" Oh wow, there are 2 options: - where player find exalt and he is happy, GOOD - where player dont find exalt and is not happy, LAME let's make it that there is only one option: - the LAME one brilliant "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." " There is a third option: to increase drop rates a lot, and to hell with all those ridicolous self declared experts that think that a game must win over the players ;) |

" No one talked of idling in town. A certain wispo instead specifically wrote NOT AFK Oh i forgot: YOU had exalted drop? Happy for you, but you know.. there are many other players apart of Extreme_Boyheat, and those players are often not dropping a single exalt. In a game in wich the best items cost even 300-400 exalted, tell me how these guys must do to buy even a simple (example) 5 exalt item Last edited by Wispo#5031 on Jan 4, 2016, 8:03:56 AM

" So change your perspective. Play self-found, play builds that don't require mirrored or overly expensive items, focus on fun instead of profit and wealth. Focus on what you have, not on what others have. It's what I do, because I know I'd get frustrated if I went on the chase. Or, if none of these appeal, put in the same effort as those who are "rich": Spend your time flipping, get a script to snipe poe.trade offers, sacrifice family and work time, and so forth. Personally? I'm glad I can't play 16 hours every day, because it would mean I'd not have a job. I like having a job and an income. But the point really is: Wealth will always be relative: You can only be rich when most people aren't rich. If you raise the floor (make everyone more wealthy), the requirement for being rich just raises with it. It's all relative. As I said on the other page, if you give everyone free exalted orbs, you devalue them, and prices for items go up. You responded by saying you hope that people would be "fair" and not raise their prices. But of course they would. They could ask 15c now instead of 1ex for an item already now, but they don't. They, too, want to make profit so that they can afford what they want. The only thing that free or easier available exalted orbs would change is that self-found players would have easier access to them for crafting. But as currency, their value would just decrease. Instead of paying 10ex for something now, you'd pay 15 or 20ex then. The chaos recipe has shown that. There was a time when an exalted orb was only 20c. What I'd like to see is for GGG to introduce a currency form that is not used for crafting. Something that is mostly cosmetic, like, an Orb of Vanity that you can turn into MTX or points (might jeopardize the business model) if you have enough of them. Then exalted orbs could have a 1000x increased drop chance, or we could have a chaos to ex recipe. Gating crafting behind trading is sub-optimal, I feel. But that's also a different topic, admittedly. :) | |
" Orb of vanity... i lke the idea ^.^ My main exile has gear worth a total of one exalt only. I don't have the goal of super expensive items, but at least when an exile comes out better (or just less shittier) than all others... could a poor player have the satsfaction of "perfecting" a build with something better? Example: it's almost an year that i have my 640ES chest. I would really like to "perfect" my buyild with i don't say a perfect 950 es one, but at least an 800 one. No, this stupid economy don't allow me. Same for other items and exiles This game is a continue starving... currency doesn't drops and inflation make its gaining a pain, good gear doesn't drop and you must pursue some no lifer teen hoping that he is not afk and sells you an item, maps doesn't drop and you must level 80+ exiles in Dunes and Dried lake... my God this is drive me to suicide Last edited by Wispo#5031 on Jan 4, 2016, 8:22:51 AM

This is not a good thing to implement because:
- one can work around the timer, making it more or less effortless. - they would be too common, which is worse than too rare, considering how much people cry about "lots of useless drops", just take the most recent thread which ranted about nothing being valuable - RNG is better than treshold rewards in terms of addiction and enjoyment of the game. - 100 hours is a long fucking time for a lot of people, but these are not the people PoE attempts to cater - if a player is active 1 or 2 hours/day, tops, he won't need these super-luxurious and high-end performing items you describe until very very late, or ever. - RMT will probably be even more present, as more people will have more things to sell. - The reward, or "candy, is constantly present as it is. This is my spontaneous stance towards it - i'm positive that GGG's got way more aspects to consider and respect regarding your suggestion. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1552460 - my drop solution
Specs: CPU - i5 9600k, geforce 2060, 32 gb ram, ssd, 2133/2333 mz.----- EXILES EVERYWHERE, PLEASE?!?!?! |

" Work around the timer? So, a drop could be linked to an X amount of experience gained killing mobs. Many could be the solutions, but lacks THE WILL to adopt them, because GGG doesn't want to enrage those who has spent thousand dollars in ther game (bah... if i have thousand euros, i will buy a new car... and not waste them on Poe -.-) |

Who need welfare?

" Welfare, loooool XD I'm not asking for welfare.... i'm asking of demolishing an oligarchy (=traders, flippers, lucky riches) to estabilish a democracy (=ALL should have the happiness of good drops, in currency, maps and items) |
