I would say that's still a downgrade from the art we had before--very clean and orderly, and my ORBS were actually ORBS--but with that I would at least be appeased.
Regal orb and chaos orb actually look good.

I don't mind them, it will just take some time to recognize them. More distinct colors would help though.
The nerfs will continue until morale improves.

What's the mystery? Color differentiation is used everywhere in life, the world etc. White, blue and yellow ring a bell? The point is, anytime something is colored differently than something else, it's easier to distinguish more quickly. The brain distinguishes between colors faster than it does shapes, it's really just that simple.

... What gave you the impression i don't understand the extreme utility of color differentiation? What i said is every orb is extremely distinct (shape+color), and i'm therefore very confused at the complaints.

I don't like the new art in regards to orbs, they don't look like orbs. They look like other things tbh. I don't mind if they kept the color schemes of the new art, but some things need to look like orbs or spheres/balls/whatnot.
I have gathered from this thread so far that the word "orb" should not be thrown around lightly.

I assumed that the art was finished but the names were still a work in progress.

For example, I never thought we'd really be getting a quest from the PHQG upon release so I never felt it was an issue the needed to be addressed.
