[2.6] TankyTwirl - PhysSpell CoC Cyclone

I have some trouble with AOE Spell bosses, they are really annoying. Any suggestions ?
My flasks
Can go up to 22k+ ES with my flask set up, work great for melee boss but i cant deal with AOE spells bosses :( Today i died 3-5 times when fighting with double boss Megaera ( Crematorium Map / 75 resits Fire )

Died to academy boss yesterday. I was cycloning on him, but it seems he actually got desynched and i wasnt hitting him at all, so no leech = death. Does lockstep help against this kind of troubles? Anyway i cant turn it on, cause i have even more lags when its enabled. Just wondering how u deal with this shit.

I guess you mean EV, not ES ;)

For Magera you need a Ruby Flask. The most dangerous moment is when she dies, because your Leech stops but her Firestorm is still there dealing damage. You have to keep a eye on her healthbar and whirl out asap when she drops dead.

Academy Boss is a Bitch, can confirm that. If you play without Lockstep i guess its much worse.

One part of the Problem is the same as Magera, the Tornados stay up when he is dead allready so you have to get out asap when he is dead.
Then you also have the Problem that you can get easily microstunned by the many small hits if you stop cycloning for even a very short time, without Lockstep thats a guarantee to get desynced.

Its one of the only bosses i skip while leveling, because the damage on him seems just so random and uncontrollable.

90% of the time it works out to kill him in time and whirl out, but sometimes its just bam and dead.

I´ll try to make videos of both Magera and the Arabiter of Knowledge once i get to 95 to show how i handle them.

As oztaahh said it does not work.

We take it because critting with our spells will make our damage alot higher.

I tested if the Crit Multi at Scion start would be more damage, but Spelldamage at witch start was a little bit better.

Awesome, awesome build! I'm having a blast with it, absolutely smashing through tier 2 maps at level 62. I have a question though and it's regarding Herald of Ice, are there any other just as viable alternatives? Herald of Ice is really nice but I find in big packs of mobs it really kills my FPS.

You can use Herald of Ash, its more per hit damage but less clearspeed.

You could also use Arctic Armour, but imho thats a bit of a wast as its jsut there to chill enemies.

Then you could get some more mana reservation and run a Blasphemy with Vulnerability.

I am currently testing a Ranger/Flaskfinder Version of this, using the Poison on Flask stuff, seems great so far. Using 3 pieces of Elreon Jewlery to get a free Cyclone, guess i will need to multi mod the amulet :-/

Great guide. However, I don't know if this is a forum problem or hotlinking but some of your images are showing as an X icon. For example, in your links section, the images aren't showing so now I can't see what to link anymore. It would be great if the accompanying texts/captions described what's shown on the images in circumstances like these. May you please fix if it is in your power ? MUCH Thanks!

The images work fine for me, guess thats a problem with your Browser then?

Powercharge: Bladevortex - PcoC - Cwdt - inc. Duration/inc. Crit Strikes

Auras: Disciplin , Hatred, HoI
