Donald Trump

As a foreigner, I don't really understand the American legal system (and I suspect most Americans don't either), so I must ask: why aren't these people being arrested and prosecuted? Isn't it a criminal offense to publicly demand someone's murder? Isn't it some kind of offense to publicly demand civil unrest?

I mean, where I live the police isn't in the habit of shooting people if they sneeze wrong but I'm pretty sure if I publicly and seriously post something like 'hey, let's rebel and ignore the national legislation', I'll be in all kinds of trouble. Let's not even talk what would happen if someone wrote on their facebook feed 'hey, let's kill the president'.
You have to be realistic about these things.

It's illegal.

Offering extraordinarily broad protection to political dissent, the Court required the government to meet three different criteria to regulate speech. First, the speaker must promote not just any lawless action but "imminent" lawless action. Second, the imminent lawless action must be "likely" to occur. Third, the speaker must intend to produce imminent lawless action ("directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action").
But what do you imagine the results of an arrest would be?
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Liberals are looking like petty, elitist, poor losers who honestly need to just grow up and recognize we're all still in this together, it's not just about them. America has spoken and rather than throw a temper tantrum like a kid at the store they need to look in the mirror for why they lost.

Well, in my particular case the result of an arrest will be a hell of a beating administered by my country's lovely police officers.

Pardon me, I meant I would fall down the stairs repeatedly.

I get what you mean, though. It'll look bad if they started arresting people. Bad publicity and so on. Trump obviously has a good PR team and they probably told him to act in the most peaceful way possible and let the hysterical libs hang themselves.

However, I think they should draw the line at open calls for assassination.
You have to be realistic about these things.

I'm starting to get worried that the extremist fringe of the Clinton half of America won't take the red pill on its own. Back on page 270 I laid out two binary choices, but when I did I thought the worst of it would be victim mentality and throwing some isms around; instead, things have gotten violent to the point that the "warrior" in SJW is losing its irony.

I also underestimated militancy on the right. I blame Alex Jones. Although maybe I should suspect 4chan. Haven't gone there lately.

Why won't it die off on its own? The echo chamber is still in full effect. Mainstream media covers the vandals, and quotes them saying "Trump is racist, Trump wants to deport all Muslims, Trump hates gays." Who told them those lies? The mainstream media did. It's as if you took a human centipede and attached the end to the front, creating a never-ending loop.

I've tried to penetrate the loop via social media. I've made passionate arguments with solid evidence. I've calmed down the less emotional types, but those on my friendslist talking hate and promoting violence, they just unfriended me after some oh-so-fun verbal abuse. It really does feel like the Matrix; they're protecting their own echo chambers. A prison for their minds.

I feel we need to pressure the mainstream media to admit its obvious failures. We need them to take accountability instead of continuing to dodge it. We need them to say they're sorry. Until they do, I'm afraid the violence will only get worse.

You do realize both candidates are unpopular. They want to throw them both out. Donald didn't win a popular vote, he won the electoral college. The left can claim the the election is rigged. There is not only anger on the right, there is anger on the left.

Why does that depend on the media? Everything fall on Donald. Depending on what he do, the situation could calm down or escalate.
Oh I love seeing the brainwashed liberal sentiments vomited all over this thread and the Internet in general. It really reinforces the the theory that the masses are easily controlled. ;-)

No, we're not. You've been in a fuckin coma for the past 8 years; would you like me to give a recap of the GOPs behavior?

There are two Americas. I will not be pushed a single inch further to the right to accommodate these troglodytes.

very Petty
Establishment: Clinton family
Establishment: Obama
Establishment: CNN
Establishment: MSNBC
Establishment: New York Times
Establishment: New York (fill in the blank)
Establishment: Fox News (right wing establishment)
Establishment: Bush family (right wing establishment)
Renegade: Bernie
Renegade: Trump

Trump's election threw the establishment into panic mode, then chaos. That's what I love to see, the corruption and pay-to-play politics (cronyism) getting cleaned out. Will history repeat itself if Trump serves two terms? Possibly. If it gets as bad as it is right now with the left, then I'd be willing to support the next renegade. And that's why Trump won: both liberals and conservatives were tired of establishment. And the US in general is tired of the division that was doubled-down on by Obama.

I actually believe Trump will be far less divisive. He's a business man, not a politician. He had a whole team to make his political campaign for him. Trump will reach across the table and compromise to reach some sort of agreement.

What happened in the past with Obama was ZERO compromise. Bills would be forced down the throats of the right in power, and it's either accept it or be run over. Very little room for compromise.

Trump is not truly right-wing, nor left. He used to be a Democrat. He has seen both sides, and that's a rare breed to have in office. The last president like that was Regan. Yes, Regan used to be a Democrat as well, turned Republican. As for Bernie, he's so radical left I have a hard time swallowing anything he wants, but I appreciate that he's honest about his vision and not part of the establishment.

And I'm sure this is one of the main reasons why Trump had Giuliani close during the campaign, and possibly will be on his cabinet. Giuliani is also known well for reaching across the table to the left in order to make progress.

DECEMBER 19th She still has a chance!!!

"24 states bind electors. If electors vote against their party, they usually pay a fine. And people get mad. But they can vote however they want and there is no legal means to stop them in most states."

Hillary won the popular vote... In all truthfulness we need Hillary in the White House. Trump will have a devastating effect on farmers, diary and meat industries. These industries hire illegal immigrants to work jobs many would not. People do not understand how the food industry is so important.

We need to attract legal immigrants... This country is based on recruiting the best minds from around the world. Trump would make this country so unattractive to a wide set of smart logical minds.

Our debts will rise further because in order for him to cut taxes he has to burrow from somewhere in the beginning... So it starts a trickling effect. Ugh closer to recession.,.
