There's something about an authoritarian leader insisting that their neighbors are culturally homogeneous while forcibly taking over their country over the protests of the neighbors themselves that raises an eyebrow for the rest of the free world. But I'm with you on the solution - nearby Europeans are the best to assess the veracity of the claims on both sides, and if it's worth fighting over, it should be them leading the diplomacy on the matter. The U.S. should be behind a 'break in case of emergency' glass when it comes to things on the other side of the globe. This whole thing strikes me as dangerous, that is the way the left are reacting to Trump's legit victory. I'm sorry I don't recall seeing this much overreaction from the right 8 years ago. Sure, there were some fringe elements that freaked out, there always is, but the libs on my FB page look suicidal. The nastiest most propagandistic campaign in living memory and too many of them bought what she said about Trump. It's sad really. Censored.
