Donald Trump

So if you've been wondering how Trump predicted today's Weiner incident a year ago... (long read but worth):

Trump is banking on 2 important things by waiting this long to put forward a coherent platform that emphasizes cleaning up Washington. First, he firmly believes our attention spans are deteriorating, and wants this stuff out within ~2 weeks of election day.

Your impression could be correct. One national conservative media member was saying that his contacts inside the campaign indicated that the campaign had to pressure Trump to get this done and out before the election, and the media pundit/analyst was saying that the campaign is just that disorganized.

Suing is a national past time in America, and I think it deserves its own national holiday ;-)

Aside from the abuses of the system, it is far better than violence and corruption for solving problems.

As for Trump's actions - if the accusers are speaking honestly, they have very little to fear and will actually stand to make a great deal of money in the long term.

If they are found to be speaking dishonestly, then they should be criminally tried as well, for jeopardizing the credibility of any woman who manages to work up the courage to legitimately accuse someone who has committed crimes against them. It is bad enough as it is with crap like the Rolling Stone BS and the Duke Lacrosse garbage etc.

Women need to be heard by the proper authorities, believed, and then the proper investigations and follow up be conducted in a legal, non-incendiary fashion. Far too many harassments, assaults and batteries go unreported as it is. The people that commit these crimes often end up taking them to greater extremes until someone's sister, daughter etc turns up dead or brutalized. The women reporting them can incur a significant risk of being killed or put in the hospital, so society needs to do everything it can to make sure the process is consistent, legitimate and protective of the parties involved.

Let due process work and put the liars and the abusers in prison.

Those "people" are disgusting. A vote for Hillary is a vote for these sick f**ks.

"Tolerant" Hillary supporters are ISIS wannabees who lack the ambition and drive.

Emotional response is emotional.

There is no direct violence in the recording; she literally trips over her own feet. At worst, there's namecalling and some signs being broken wich I suppose could be destruction of property, if you really want to stretch it.

You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.

There's a display of a mob mentality that isn't pretty to look at, so I'm certainly not going to suggest there aren't assholes present in the recording. But if I sit on my ass in a public place, spouting garbage at passersby for 3 hours, maybe it shouldn't come as a huge shock if a few of them gets sick of my shit at some point.

Now, the good DaliLlama here is trying to sell us the idea that these people are literally limp-dicked ISIS substitutes for yelling at a person who has been supposedly provoking them for hours and then proceeds to lie down like Ronaldo on a soccer pitch after trippping over her own feet.

Forgive me, but I'm not buying. Neither the narrative, nor the hysteria.

And for the record: no, I wouldn't support any of these clowns. I think it's nothing less than alarming that, with a population of 300+ million, these two are your candidates; a borderline sociapathic representation of a corrupt system and a spoiled, narcissistic manchild who can't take a joke. How anyone can think that any of these two are worthy of what is arguably one of the most important job positions out there is beyond me.

For me it was easy. I looked into Hillary's scandals and found that they were almost entirely smoke blown by the right, and the ones that weren't would not hinder her effectiveness to lead. I looked at her qualifications and found that they are astounding. I looked at her policies and found that they are positions I almost entirely find worthwhile, even if I'm a fair bit further left than her (far enough left that policies I'd prefer have zero percent chance of happening in today's America; her positions are sensible ones).

Hillary's going to be a damn fine president. The only thing standing in her way is the absolutely rancid modern Republican party and how obstructionist they are. If Republicans aren't as effective at hindering democracy as they were during Obama's presidency, I believe America will be better after four years of Hillary than it is now.

If anyone honestly feels the same about Trump, and honestly believes that Trump has the capacity to be an effective president who will intelligently govern the country, they are completely delusional. The issues with Trump aren't conspiracies. They're not massively overblown issues. They're his own words and his own actions, repeated constantly over the years. Trump truly is what he has shown himself to be time and time again.

I sympathize with people who believe the worst of Hillary Clinton. The smear campaigns have been incredibly effective and people have been told foolish things like "where there's smoke, there's fire" too many times over the years. I can't wrap my head around people unable to see through Trump, though. His ignorance, ineptitude, and idiocy shine like the sun. At no point has Trump even slightly appeared to be capable of handling the responsibility of the presidency. Even his claims that he hires "the best people" is easily disproven by looking over his disastrous policy proposals.

Funnily enough, I just wrote a comment to a YouTube video of Michael Moore talking to Megyn Kelly about Trump which seems appropriate here...
Mr. Moore has demonstrated that he knows perfectly well why people want to destroy the system, but continues to argue for half-measures: improving Obamacare, making things better, etc. He, of all people, should understand that his "legal hand grenades" and "human Molotov cocktails" are the ONLY remedy with even a chance of success at real change for the working class. Trump is selling the people a revolution, on which he may or may not deliver; Clinton isn't even offering one, and the working class cannot put their lives on hold for another 4-8 years waiting for the Democrats to get their shit together. Offer your own solution, Mr. Moore, and do it now... or get with the program of the only man saying the right things. Put nationalism - by which I mean America, American people and American jobs - above your petty partisan politics and the globalists who have corrupted your precious Democratic Party. Vote Trump. And while you're at it, Mr. Moore, it would behoove you to get more pissed off about how the DNC screwed over Bernie Sanders.

So you say her policies are "sensible." If by that you mean a timid ones, a perpetuation of a status quo which working-class Americans are thoroughly fed up with, then yes, that's what she represents. And that's why she's hated.

I mean, for fuck's sake, why aren't YOU more pissed off about Bernie? I think he was a nutter but at least he understood the core truth: what little change Obama brought only made things worse. Sanders was (and unfortunately isn't) a man who wasn't denying that problems exist.
