Will the poison support gem add another stack on poison on hit ontop of the one viper strike does?

No it will slightly increase the potency of your poison and make every hit of the affected skill poison. You only get one application of poison per hit though.

More Damage is not additive with More Damage, unless it comes from the same source.
Pain Attunement and Righteous Fire are multiplicative with eachother - Incinerate stacks are additive with eachother (but multiplicative with RF and PA).

That is why people say "More and Less are multiplicative". Because they are :P

So, I've been here a while, but this still confuses me as to how granular the "same source adds" is.

If I socket SRS with both More Minion Damage and More Melee damage supports, are they multiplicative since it's 2 support gems, or is it additive since its the same Active gem they are applying to, and it's the active gem that actually does the damage?
#1 rule of official forum boards of every video game ever: use the forums to relay info, gather suggestions, or the rare narrow-focused Poll; but NEVER as "feedback".

#2 rule: Never say the #1 rule in an official capacity. Let some guy on the forums say it, leaving yourself plausible deniability.
Minion Damage is not the same as Melee Physical Damage. That's why they are two different Gems, and that's why you can stack them :P Multiplicatively, at that!

Same-source is very literal. Frenzy Charges are Frenzy Charges, and thus stack additively with eachother (three Frenzy Charges = 12% more Damage). There are no other modifiers called "Frenzy Charge", and thus no other More-type multiplier is additive with it.

Gotcha. After mis-mangling the wordage for SRS being a "spell" gem, I just want to make sure I don't butcher something similarly in the future.
