PLEASE RE- OPTIMIZE THE DOCKS!!!!

Hey guys, so I can play this game for the most-part at 60FPS without much issues.

The only problem is the map "The Docks" where because of the monsters "Voidbearer" my Framerate can literally come to a halt and make my computer make a "BEEP" sound - indicating that too much is going on on the screen, or something is just wrong.

FPS drops from 60 to 1 when there is a large pack of them onscreen.

Voidbearer's are the fire-breathing dog like creatues.

This really needs a fix, I play in Hardcore and I do not want to die due to framerate issues. The docks is the best place to farm maps at the highest level too, so this map should be optimised well.

Also, sometimes these Voidbearers even have a graphical glitch which makes them look like they are wearing polygon hats.

I've taken a Screenshot to illustrate this:

To make it worse, there are monsters that spam Phase run on this map, which can also lead to bad framerate issues. And the map has rain.

So added all together:

Me spamming Lightning Strike + Voidbearers + Phase Runners + Rain = 50 Enemies on screen = 0 FPS.

So yeah, please reoptimise this map because at the moment, this is really just bad and everytime there is a lot of enemies on the screen, I feel like I am going to die. >.<

I'll be keeping this thread bumped, and if you agree, please help keep it bumped.

Thanks!

PS.

I'm running a:
i5 2500k @3.3GHz
Radeon HD 6950 (2048 MB)
10GB RAM

I have a high end system and even I notice some lag in the docks. No where near the unplayable FPS the OP gets, but with a GTX 590 and i5 2500k, I shouldn't be lagging at all in this game. The Docks is definitely the worst zone in the game in terms of performance and optimization.
The lag may not be your rig either, it might be GGG's. Which means it's still a problem. And there's a reason all the mobs are blue, after all, less strain on the various machines when they don't have to process 32 billion colours at once.

I'm actually running the same i5 2500k as you, but I have a Radeon HD 6950.

I agree, apart from the fact that it is still Beta, it needs to be fix hopefully soon.
I find it really hard playing in a party while docks farming, fps spikes from 60 to 5 in about 1 second during fighting dogs/big packs of phase run mobs.

I hope they will get to optimizing most of the game soon.

Bump.
i have the same system as OP and everything is smooth as butter on max settings

Does this include Merciless Docks?

Docks give me huge fps drops too with a pretty solid system running the rest of the game very comfortably on high settings + AA.

I managed to temporarily resolve the issue by overclocking my video card, but I really don't like having my computer in an overclocked state all the time whilst gaming - so I would still prefer if the area is optimised correctly as the rest of the game runs smooth without OCing.

Pretty sure the voidbearer's fire breath is not loaded into memory properly, causing it to have to load the asset every single time, causing freezing/stuttering.
