Looking for good TV Series
I would also suggest you consider watching some Anime. A lot of people get the disillusion that Anime are "cartoons" and are for kids only, but in the Japanese culture, Anime can be made for many different age groups, not just children. I would recommend Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Death Note, just to name a few.
See you, Space Cowboy...

Boardwalk Empire is a good show, considering how it left off im content not watching anymore of it though.
My show of choice is Doctor Who |

American Horror Story, 1st Season, though I lost the "horror" feeling after a couple of episodes.
Animated series: South Park (Captain Obvious reporting for duty!), Seth MacFarlane's shows and as my personal favourite: Archer. IT Crowd and Black Books are some very funny British shows, also I second Sherlock. |

Babylon 5 - Best Sci-fi ever made
Doctor who - So close to be first its scary Fringe - Very good Heroes - Best take on the whole (i have powers now what?) angle American Horror story - Never knew a series could be made like this. And last but most def. not least : Puella Magi Madoka Magica dont let the anime cover fool you this is the most dark and mature anime i have ever seen and the ideas and the way said ideas are approached really unique and brilliant. Like everybody said before me you have your work cut out for you :D enjoy. "May those who accept their fate be granted happiness. May those who defy their fate be granted glory." Most TV shows suck. There are only like half a dozen even worth mentioning...
Only show this year that I really plan to follow is Game of Thrones. |

House of Cards is currently what I just finished up. It's a neflix exclusive and has Kevin Spacey and Kate Mara in it. If you like good political dramas, it's the closest thing I've found since The West Wing.
Kevin Spacey should get an Emmy for his performance in it. |

I mentioned Spartacus.
It's Starz, not HBO. Did someone seriously say Roots? That's kudo-worthy, even if the author was proven to be a bit of a fraud. My name is Kunta Kinte! Currently doing a Whedon-a-thon with the girlfriend, who has seen and loved Firefly but someone missed Buffy and Angel. We did all of Buffy, 4 episodes off the end of Angel. Then we'll take a break, maybe watch some Phineas and Ferb (seriously), and then do the unfortunate Dollhouse. That should carry us to GoT season 3 and BB 5.2. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |
