Still, if there are more brazillian players than non brazillian, PT-BR language would be more important than LA-SP.

Gateway is down right now for me.

Edit: It went offline for some seconds and then I could login again, but now my latency (which was 50-60 stable) is now 90-100ms.

Well, do you really think they didn't checked where the majority of supporters/players are located in South America before deciding for pt-br/brazilian servers?

If you didn't, please think twice now.

They are a company interested on having profits. Believe me, if they can develop a game this complex they can do a query to check which country would be Strategically more interesting to deploy a new realm at South America.

Not to say they depend on Softlayer expansion plans, which at this time was to deploy a new datacenter at Sao Paulo/Brazil late summer 2015.

Strange i got lower ping to washington server ~150 to the brasiliam one ping goes to 250.
