Make challenges actual challenges

the bosses are actually no problem, map costs are high though, so you better not waste a map. Though core will likely require 2-3 runs for you to understand mechanics well enough. Map Maligaro is actually worse than map Malachai, his combo is hillarious and even with no map mods his vaal firetraps deal like 2.4k damaage, his DD like 2k and his knives like 1.6k

I dont even know what the challenges are. Why dont you set your own? Like mine was beat uber. Failed in ambush even though I got 4 challenges by accident I was disappointed. Finally did it in rampage and dont think i got any "challenges." I dont know say reach 95 or 100 or something. Those are all grindy non-shop type things.

BTW - Core Malachi is my "challenge" this season since hes harder than uber.

I have over 2,000 hours under my belt with this game, according to steam, and no I don't leave my character logged in all the time and not playing.

Tempest/Warbands is the first challenge league I've actually tried to complete challenges. I set myself a goal to complete 5 of the 8. I wanted to be able to complete over half.

I got 3 characters to 82, corrupted jewels (which thank god I found a div card worth 2ex so I could buy all the jewels and vaal orbs), and I did the vendor recipe one.

I've started a tempest character to complete tempets challenge. My first ever HC toon and its just stressing me out too much, heh. So much lag and almost dying to strongbox lag is just terrible. I wont be opening any strongboxes anymore lol. Still, I Don't think Tempests challenge is going to happen. I'm too laggy, probably going to die and I've lost interest.

Div cards are not going to happen. Just not able to do it. I know other people can, I just can't seem to be able to farm/trade/flip/scam enough to get rich in this game and buy challenges.

I cant afford to buy high level maps for the unique bosses kills, nor do I have the uber expensive gear required. Again, not I'm good enough to farm/trade/flip/scam to get rich enough to buy a good character. Bosses challenge not going to happen.

I understand that a "challenge" is supposed to be a "challenge" and that many have successfully completed all 8 of them. Some people are just better at playing the flipping items game and getting rich in game than I am. So, if its that kind of skill they are looking for to complete challenges then they are doing quite well.

I kind of agree with OP that most of the challenges seem like they depend on getting rich in game and buying them. I am going to fail at my goal at completing 5 of the 8 challenges.
