@Azdrubel: speaking from unpleasant experience with this forum's totalitarian rules, I would recommend some editing of your post :)

" although mods could be more forgivable at times, tolerance ends where other players are insulted directly, forum rules are fine by me. regarding offering "services" in the game, it's improvable. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" Oh, the guy went out of line without any doubt in this particular case, I was referring to my own experience where I ate a one-week probation for nothing. p.s. in retrospect, my "totalitarian" post was misleading and definitely salty You have to be realistic about these things. Updated the rules with a few cases that RagnarokChu pointed out here.
There was a question of doubling your share, how long it would take. Fairly long, longer than a month at least. I am not a magician who can just pull money from thin air. Return of investment (ROI for short) will vary depending on sales. I can very roughly guess that weekly ROI would be between 5-15% for investors, and somewhat higher for myself. However, this is just a speculation with numbers at this point. I advise to wait at least a week, at which point an actual data will be available. " This would have been quite an interesting and useful system indeed. However, given how much GGG had touched trading aspect of the game in the last year (they didn't), chances of something like this being implemented are quite slim. I am monitoring this thread and I'm willing to provide OP with a substantial amount of currency (for the lulz) if the data provided by him at the end of the week meets my expectations (or later if it doesn't seem sufficient).

" Yeah we sure needed more baseless accusations here Do you even know how the pyramid schemes work? I really doubt that yo do, because it has pretty much zero in common with an investment fund. Increasing Field of View in PoE: /1236921 Last edited by Rachel#0000 on Aug 25, 2015, 1:57:57 PM

Bersi, the game is intended to be played one way only: however one likes if it is within the rules. Why don't you play it like you want and let others play it how they want. Also, you don't want to prove you're not an elephant but OP should prove they aren't, right?
Anger issues much? You have to be realistic about these things. Logen Ninefingers Last edited by Bars#2689 on Aug 25, 2015, 12:26:59 PM

See, that's the problem - you automatically assume the worst and refuse to even acknowledge the possibility that the guy is forthright. Also, no one here is speaking about a "biiig" profit, he said himself that he's not a magician. The basic premise is sound - a lot of players don't play standard and have a ton of stuff just collecting dust in their chests, why not put it to use? Of course there is a degree of risk involved but you cannot possibly say it's a scam. There are players who trade cross-league, sometimes items worth hundreds of exalts, and they operate, successfully, entirely based on trust. I've used their services and I'm very happy with the results. Their entire business operates because they have carefully cultivated an image of trustworthiness- and it pays off in the long term.
OP wants to do something similar and I wish him luck and hope it kicks off. If it's a scam, I don't care - I regularly give away my SC gear anyway. You have to be realistic about these things. Logen Ninefingers Last edited by Bars#2689 on Aug 25, 2015, 12:51:27 PM

Since most RL investment is based on some kind of shared risk (fund bankruptcy / organisation bankruptcy, etc.), it's a lot more risky to trust OP because we know nothing of him/her.
Though, I've got a fun idea how the risk can be shared among the "shareholders" and OP. What about OP giving his personal information to the "shareholders" who invested more than "just a little bit" (no details, just a basic idea) along with some hard to fake proof, that it really is OP. Even if it's a scam, most of us can not use this information effectively to prosecute the potential scammer (no legal basis for fraud 'cause the items are not legally ours). But there might just be one crazy guy, who's REALLY pissed of if he gets scammed, willing to drive to OPs front door and wreck him like a wrecking ball. This way, even it's a scam, OP won't be able to soundly sleep for a little while or worst/best case, the crazy guy is real. Please don't hurt me if this idea sucks, I didn't really think it through into all detail. Last edited by muhicool#7516 on Aug 25, 2015, 1:15:31 PM
