I like this idea Arayca. I have a bunch of items on Standard just gathering dust, I would prefer it to be stacks of currency gathering dust :P

Do you have any minimum/maximum value of the items you are happy to try and sell for me to add as my investment.. something like this will be ok?

Do you work with corrupted uniques? i may have one or two that i dont use anymore and im too lazy to sell them myself

Large problem with this is your invested funds aren't backed up by anything or secure. If suddenly you folded under with too many people investing in you and you had too big of a loss then everyone get's screwed and thus on. Same thing with too many funds being held up and people wanting to withdraw all of their money at once while your trying to make it to pay people back. Also you can't have a "share" system because if none of the money is yours how do you decide percentages per person across multiple people.

This guy may or may not be legit, I'm just saying the larger they grow the harder they fall.

This can happen if someone decides to earn money using high-risk RNG methods like crafting.
Then it is possible to spend most currency without getting anything in return.

Trading on the other hand is low-risk and almost never incurs any losses. Even if you don't earn profit, you can almost in all cases resell the item for the same price you bought it with. There are no taxes to deal with, which is extremely beneficial.
So it isn't like all investments will just vanish into thin air suddenly. They are all backed up by items, items which will sell.

Shares are calculated like this - my share is the buying price of all my items that were bought for making profit, before any other investments. Other's shares are at first equal to their initial investments. Then, usually weekly, I publish the profit that was made, and redistribute it between all fund's shares according to the rule outlined in the main post.

Depends. Often they have uncertain value and selling probability.

I do have a shop. I sold pretty much all items using it so far.
But since I use Acquisition it is never bumped.

Mostly been using trade chat just for currency trades, but from now I'll also use some spam script for higher value items.

Well, I think people can sell their items on their own, so that is that.
