۞ Shajirr's Investment Fund ۞ [CLOSED]

I have come to the decision to close down the project.

This is due to the combination of multiple factors, such as:

- I have less time, which means direct reduction in profit being made
- PoE not having any kind of trading system. There isn't any way to trade offline, which means that if you aren't at the PC and got PoE running in the background, nothing is being done.
Even 20 year old online games allowed you to at least set up a shop and leave it open, so you could sell stuff even while afk, but not here.
- GGG quadrupled droprate of rare and not so rare uniques, which made them unviabvle to trade in, since profit margin per item was reduced from multiple exalts to less then one
- effectiveness of the trading program that I started using (Blackmarket) was far, far below my expectations. Even tracking like 30 different items gave a result result of 1-2 deals a day at best, zero at worst.
- due to the aforementioned factors I am unable to upscale the profit in relation to how much currency people invest. Not being able to sell/buy while being offline plays a huge part in this.

So, from now I will be returning all of your current shares + any unsold items.

The project may be reopened if an offline trading system will be implemented in PoE.
However trading hasn't really been changed in the last three years so I am not optimistic about this.

Vouch for Shajirr. He just refunded me the whole investment, and I made 7.1 ex profit. Sad to see it end.

Yep, can vouch for Shajjir too.. 90 ex just paid to me, with the rest to follow when the sales go through.

Shame you had to call it a day, but it was fun while it lasted! Making currency for the investment gave me a reason to continue to play temp leagues when I would usually just stop after reaching my goals.

status update:

Currently I still have to return 149.5ex out of 495ex
which was the sum of all shares except mine on a week 10.

So by now I returned around 70% of the shares.

Unfortunately higher-priced stuff takes a while to sell, plus things are looking kinda dead before the next big update.
