All rare and super-rare Unique items now drop four times as often as they previously did. Yes, this means that four times as many Mjölners or Shavronne's Wrappings will now drop.

These uniques drop in value as you are reading this.
I cannot trade them until they normalise in price, which means somewhat lesser profit during this time, as I'll be relying mostly on more common smaller price items.

Thankfully I managed to quickly sell my only Mjolner at only 0.5ex loss before more people realise what is going on.

Expect 10 ex Mjolners and Shavronne's Wrappings a few weeks from now being on the market.

04.09 - 2 days after update - 20ex - people finally started to realise, but it is too late now to sell them, everyone is waiting for even lower prices
06.09 - 16ex
11.09 - 12ex
14.09 - 11ex
20.09 - 9ex

I bought one in Tempest for 11ex, I'm glad :)

Another good week! This time next year we will be millionaires :P

The rarity changes definitely hit the sales though - until prices settle there is no point in trading with uniques that constantly fall in value, and people in general seem to buy less high-priced stuff compared to before.

Unfortunately rarity changes were worse than I expected, and pretty much destroyed the sales of even the mid-tier items.
Even stuff like Bino daggers or Pledge staff were affected.

Weekly profit was extremely small, around 4ex or so.

I have to sell around half of my stock without any profit, or trade for different items which would be actually sellable.

On a positive note, this:

could prove to be extremely useful in the long run.
If I manage to make a program which will use that indexer to get data, it could for example automatically send notifications on potentially good deals right as the items are being posted in the shop within 20 min max, scanning hundreds of item types, which just isn't possible to do manually.
However that will surely take quite some time to get running.

I am in it for the long haul Shajjir, so I am not worried about low profits while you adapt to the new prices. Maybe you could look into desirable Rare's along with unique's in the future, to keep it fun for you. Good luck with the indexer idea! :)
