Balancing your weight and PoE.

loosing weight is easy... because it requires for you to do less (of eating)... sub all your carbs snaks for low carb veggies (by snaks I mean all of your carb sources- 30g or less a day), and eat lean (no fat)... drink some water and you good to go...

None of that advice makes any sense.

Weight loss comes from eating fewer calories, not less fat and certainly not "no" fat. You need plenty of fat in your diet. You also need carbs if you're active, which you should be.

a lot of people say to work out, but I see bunch of chubbies doing cardio for years.. I wonder why they are not loosing weight :P

Cardio burns calories which contributes to establishing the deficit necessary to drive weight loss; if you see "chubbies" doing cardio, it's because they're eating too many calories afterward or just starting a new routine.

Also, cardio and resistance training contribute to whole body health including cardio-respiratory endurance, higher resting metabolism, greater nutrient utilization, stronger bones and joints, and greater physical stamina. There's more to health than just what the scale says.

Working out is the same as leveling a rpg character - the more you stick to it, the better you become. ;)
I'm on the treadmill 5-10 hours a week. Not really fit, just fat, trying to lose weight.
balancing your weight?

Just lift weights, when you lift weights, you just eat w/e the fuck you want so long as you get enough protein and calories in per day.

When I was lifting weights 3 times a week and doing cardio 2 times a week, I had to eat 3000+ calories a day to just be able to maintain weight...

When you start lifting heavy, you stop worrying about "do I look fat", and you start caring about hitting new PRs such as 3 plate squat or 4/5 plate deadlift.

What do you guys do to stay fit?

What is "staying fit"?
Is this a new way to level in PoE?
Never heard of it before.

Also, what is "outside"?
I'm the skinny gut, that never gains weight. I'm 24, 167cm tall, and I only weigh 50Kg. I can already sense your shock >.>..just kidding :P

My diet: If it doesn't contain meat, and by meat I mean RED MEAT, I will probably, at best, taste it. I'm not picky, as long as it has RED MEAT on the side I will eat it. The catch is that I can't eat much; imagine the average amount a human eats at one meal...I eat half at best....if starving I'll eat 2 full ones.

And ofc, you can't forget the snacks, chips, fast food, junk food, Pepsi, Cola, all sorts of sweets. etc...all the unhealthy stuff. I eat these religiously, no day goes by without 1 product off this list...NOT 1 DAY!

I don't smoke, can't believe people like that; tastes like crap >.>
And I quit "heavy" drinking like 2 years ago. I'll drink the occasional glass of wine, or the FULL Bottle of Champagne...don't judge, I really like Champagne :P

Working out: Bitch please, I'm the master of Lazy :o. Only "work out" I get is at work, since I need to move a lot, and some lifting is involved.

Only health issue I have is the occasional high blood pressure, and I've had that since I was born, so meh.

Dying of old age is overrated anyway :D
Do you want grow muscles with low fat % or do you want to just lose weight and drop fat %?

If you just want burn fat do cardio. I prefer HIIT for 30 minutes. Which means you run fast 30 seconds then you slow phase down and do jogging for 1 minute so your heart pulse can rest, then repeat. Only 2 hours per week is enough.

As for building muscles do it 4 times per week for only 30-40 minutes. 2 hours per week. If you're natural and don't use steroids then 2-3 hours per week all it takes. More than that is actually negative for you progress wise with overtraining because your central nervous system can't get enough rest. You need have intesity in your workouts, do example slow negatives and heavy weights rep anywhere between 5-11. Could add some dropsets too. You might do volume training too but I find intensity better.

2 hours / week is not alot but that's all it takes.

My program:

Monday: Chest,triceps,shoulders

Wensday: Back

Thursday: Legs

Saturday: Chest

Monday: Back

Wensday: Chest

Tursday: Legs

Saturday: Back

Repeat cycle:

50% of result comes from food. If you want to build muscle eat 300 more calories than you consume. If just want to lose weight then eat less calories than consume.

Calisthenics in the room - pushups pullups some lifting (mostly shoulders). So, if you like to drink beer while playing then everytime you leave the room to get one you have to do a set...same goes for reentry. Works for me...you hit half a dozen sets before you know it...by then you're tired, exercised, and ready to chill and play.

Also...park as far away from destination as I can (lengthen walks)
Skip every other step and always take stairs...stuff like that

Hiking..nice to get out away from the screen glare.
