He does not hate you. He is just testing your devotion, your endurance, determination. Pun intended.
You teally want to know? Well way more than most ppl here, but still to less :)
I'm sure RNG hate me, i don't know why but that's the truth.
I think RNGsus is laughing a lot, he and his friends Saint Desync and Archangel Ping Peak.

It's obvious to me that GGG overlooks/ignores any player that doesn't want to play as the elite no-lifers do. GGG has it in their minds that their arpg is going to be a "hardcore" arpg and to achieve that goal they (PoE devs) perceive that PoE must be full of tiny empty boss rooms and one-shot boss mechanics (Piety laser beam of death for example) and that you must farm slave for 1000s of hours to get anything good/great to drop. RNGesus is just the term (and not of endearment) used to call the RNG mechanics that GGG has coded into PoE. Since all but no-lifers and/or PoE masochists hate the super low chances (similar to lottery chances) of getting a great drop or even enough quantity of drops such as divination cards without doing what amounts to brain dead zombie farming for many, many 100s of hours just to get enough quantity of RNG rolls to occur (and even that is no guarantee that anything good will drop) we slap a label of RNGesus on PoE drop calculations out of sheer frustration and exhaustion.

Yet within every game (arpg and others) there are always a few % of players willing to devote 1000s of hours of their lives to farming for tier 1 rewards. That's great for them but for GGG to set the chances of getting a great drop to such an extreme low value the 99% (or most) have not the time or the desire to play PoE for that many hours and thus we post out of frustration that RNGesus hates us (as we hate the massive grind time requirements of PoE). Nor is it then fair to call me out as wanting to water down PoE and make it rain tier 1 gear or want 6Ls to be as common as 4Ls. That is also very bad (I don't want a Whimsyshire type arpg here, I have TL2 for that) and the opposite should forever be banned from Wraeclast. But for RNGesus the drop rates and drop quality is painfully low. It's amazing Wraeclast hasn't sunk into the ocean from the weight of all the white trash littering the landscape!

But GGG has always (and probably will always) set the quality of drops super low and thus RNGesus will forever smite us down and consider our impure thoughts of a more rewarding arpg as blasphemy or that getting a better rate of return for time played is somehow counter to the PoE "hardcore" label and the first G of GGG. It is quite possible for us to be empowered with better quality drops and still provide hard challenges that don't involve either loot starvation to prevent uber builds or one-shot death mechanics. But GGG is lockstep determined to make PoE "hardcore" with bad RNG and most of us will forever suffer the wrath of RNGesus until permanent burnout.

Erm, the GGG staff may think this game is a hardcore ARPG but it's really not. The amount of time you spend on this game does not guarantee success. Furthermore, trading is mandatory to compete due to the retarded amount of RNG involved even though it's anti ARPG having to rely on trading at all. And the game doesn't even have a proper in-game trading system to top it off lol. Very contradictive, as with many other things in this game such as the xp penalty vs xp gained @high level vs bs 1shot mechanics in a progression based game genre (ARPG).

Also, check Ebay for example. As long as trading is in the game, people can just buy BiS gear, exalts etc. for real life money. Does that make the person who now owns BiS gear a hardcore gamer? No. This game would be hardcore if trading was removed completely while making slight adjustments to the loot drops, until that time it's just gonna be an awkward trade fest & p2w through 3rd party.

Oh and to the people who don't need RNG because they're selling rare items, congratz on -ripping off- selling enough rares which other people only buy as a temporary piece of gear because the item drops they need aren't dropping due to a dumb amount of RNG or because they're clueless as to how little difference the new item makes compared to their current items.

Lastly, exalts should also be much more common for what they do. I found 1 ex in 400 hours, oh boy oh boy. I can add a single stat which is decided by RNG to a rare item every 400+ hours. Wow, much fun, so worth. Unless you -rip people off- trade stuff or buy the exalts from 3rd party of course. Even then i'd still feel bad using the exalt considering which uniques/OP rares you can buy with enough of them. Terrible balancing, really. The highest value currency should have a much more OP effect than that to live up to its worth.

Sometimes you drop stuff sometimes you don´t - I am not expecting anything but Alts and some Alch shards from the Yellow Stuff I pick up, and whenever i hear a unique drop I do not expect anything but deep inside I cry everytime when I see that it is crap.
Basically I accept the fact that RNG is RNG but still I hate not being rewarded for playing the Game and nowadays you have to struggle to even play the Game with the way Mapping is atm.

Just my 2 cents.
