Mana Leech

The gem is completely fucked up.

It used to be "generic" support and its place in the game was thought out well. Now it's attacks only, the global leech mechanics is instance-based, the mana cost of an attack is low enough and the game meta presumes reducing mana cost of an attack to zero.

This leads to:
Shaped gloves are caster-themed yet the support is in the mods pool, a gloves can roll both Faster casting and Mana leech, this hurts me every time I see it.

Main gem variable "amount of leech per hit" is completely pointless, leech mechanics in this game is another pile of crap but not the subject of this feedback, you could set the gem to either 0.1% or 200% this would barely change anything.

The staled game meta we have for last 6 years assumes your attack-based character must have aurabot in party and headhunter equipped.
A well planned and expensively geared character with literally BiS items everywhere still getting over 6000% (six thousands percent) DPS bonus from equal tier aurabot, Headhunter and a bunch of ridiculously overpowered effects from rare monsters adds yet another 800% "more of everything", you literally can't sustain ~1000 mana/second attack on a character that has ~1200 mana and every single mana leech/mana recovery mod, you rather have to reduce attack mana cost to zero (or as low as possible and rely on "mana gain on hit" instead)

Please rework this gem. Make it useful for a caster and actually not useless for an attacker.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

This gem should be renamed to Mana Gain On Hit just like Life Gain since it only works for attacks
Useless gem without a % more multiplier.

Gain on hit is different from leech. Gain on hit is instant while leech is over time. And there is a life leech gem too.
Any chance for the new league we can get the default quality for Mana Leech to be the current Anomalous quality version?

Replace:
Supported Skills deal (0–10)% increased Damage while Leeching Mana

With this:
Supported Skills have (0–10)% increased Damage for each 200 Mana you have Spent Recently



The first version has very little impact, while the 2nd version becomes build enabling for some cool/fun attribute/mana/es stacking builds.

It sounds so silly, but crafting a standard build for months around this Quality and it getting removed makes me wanna quit the game.
