Yeah first thing that came to my mind was 'Materia System'.
And the passive skills tree reminds me of the ff10 sphere grid. Got beta key on 15/11/2011, thanks dave01

Everybody here is comparing the skill system here to FF7 and FFX. Very nice indeed. But this pops up an alert to me!
These 2 games had all skills available to all characters (if I am not mistaken). Is the same here too? If positive, surely this is a minus. Last edited by madsurgery#4150 on Oct 24, 2011, 10:22:14 AM

" I prefer a fully customizable character than a preset one. Death is blind.
It comes for all souls, regardless of their worth (or lack thereof). |

" terrible idea. gems lose their uniqueness and copying them takes away from any potential trade system. everyone would basically have every gem ever found in the game. challenge gone How many arrows does it take to steal the sun?

What I thought first when I saw the skill-system---Final Fantasy 7 and 10.

Its really nice to see such a promising skill upgrade system in a new game
I'm a huge FF7 fan, one of my all time favourite games! You're right! the skill gems levelling remind me of the Materia levelling system a little bit. Its all looking great, I am very excited with the look of the passive skill tree also, as stated above ~ its reminiscent of the 'sphere grid' in FFX. I cannot wait to get that beta key and try it out. Peace! Last edited by SirDan88#5407 on May 31, 2012, 3:22:17 AM

But the question remains,
Can I use Knights of the Round with Quadra Magic? |
