For the people who price things at 0xcurrency...
Ignoring them is one way of dealing with the problem. Alternatively, you could always set min and max values for the buyout price before searching.

" oh i love it when people do this, i have the perfect response for asshole sellers that expect a better offer than the one i proposed and my catchy pickup line for them goes along the lines of, "oh well if my offer wasnt good enough then why dont you EAT SHIT AND GO EFF YOURSELF you scamming scumbag elitist! have a nice day ^_^" then insta ignore them then enable DND (do not disturb) so if they find themselves so pissed off as to write you their pathetic rebuttle on an alt to whisper you they'll get this "user has enabled: DND" so basically their message wasnt sent then you go HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and laugh and laugh and laugh |

It's usually people that set a buyout on something in the middle of pricing it, then get interrupted or distracted and forget to go back and change it from 0. Or people that indicate that it's not for sale unless a "reasonable offer" came along - because if someone really wanted it, it's at least worth listing considering many people *do* sort by Buyout Only. But maybe you think your item is really worth something but don't want to commit to a buyout just yet and you are still wanting attention for your item among the people that have set Buyout Only searches.. Sure call it shady but ***usually it's because you have to set a buyout to something that is not equal to the tab-wide buyout in the rest of the stash tab and your damn stash tabs are full and you put that item there because you don't have time to sort your crap at that moment in time, so to avoid getting more whispers with the tab-wide buyout, you set it to 0 or 999 until you get around to pricing it. Get over it. PS: Trust me the seller does not give a damn if you ignore the post because usually the seller would believe its your loss to fail to approach them about the item and they'd rather give it to someone that has a better frame of mind about trade***

" I send them very low offer or I dont pm them even if I search for items without price. I don't like sly people like them. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |

" I never took responsibility for the 0ex buyout items because I don't have any listed at 0ex or 999ex or any of that crap. But do understand it happens to everyone from time to time. Usually though if it pisses you off that much then you're probably not worth the time of people who aren't on top of their acquisition game 100% of the time. |

I too 100% scroll past any 0x currency b/o price. The point to searching "buyout only" for me personally is to bypass any form of haggling and to get what I am looking for quickly. Which is basically the opposite of what these 0x currency buyout listings promote. Many people do it so they must see some success to it. I really feel like people like this are wasting their time though. I know there are players like me out there who sort by lowest price and automatically scroll past any 0x currency listings until they get to items with buyouts listed. I seriously don't even care to look at what your item is or how good it is if there isn't a buyout listed. I never do.

" this exactly. if you don't put a price up, there can possibly be only two reasons. No matter the reason, both will result in unfair prices - because seller is either inexperienced with expectations set too high, or just plain too greedy and won't accept a fair deal, not to mention a bro-deal. |

" Underlines are mine for emphasis I would like to imagine such extreme irrational thought doesn't exist, but here is proof enough, I guess. Let's think about this. Every trade that is sucessful is mutually beneficial to both players. But why is the seller of the item always the one considered as the scammer if he asks for a high price? Perhaps he simply didn't know a good price, and chose a price and overpriced on accident. If enough people refuse his offer, he is forced to lower his price if he wants to sell the item. So he is not scamming nor elistist. Now, consider the player who wants an item, of course he wants the item at the lowest price the seller will agree too. How come the buyer is not considered an elistist scammer for making too low an offer? If a buyer continues to make very low offers, he will seldom buy many items until the buying offer price is raised just as the person who tries to sells an item for too high will seldom sell many items until their prices are lowered. "Come along fool, a direct hit to the senses will leave you disconnected." Last edited by KimchiGirlx3#1331 on Nov 3, 2015, 11:03:57 AM
