Additional projectile mod is officially OP AF. Found fat man with this mod yesterday. Still can't think of anything to test it on.

Yeahhhh.... No. I didn't hear of Fallout 4 winning ANY awards. The Witcher III got GOTY, among others. ='[.]'=

Ya its not doing so well, it was a letdown for sure.
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
In the end Bethesda was too lazy to deserve the GOTY award. F4 is still better than I expected, but I didn't expect much (see the salt from like 20 pages ago).
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Sadly, so. It also didn't help that Bethesda was still locked into the current, outdated game engine from early in FO4's development, when Witcher III came out with its more contemporary systems... Also, IIRC, Witcher (anything) has nudity and sex scenes, while FO still relies on fade to black and an XP bonus. Just sayin.' =~[.]^=

I think what holds their games back is that ultimately bethesda are just a bit boring. I think ziggy hit it right on when he talked about how you couldnt just be a bad guy, the roll playing aspect just isnt there. I think somewhere in bethesdas heads they think everyone just wants to be the stock good guy and do all the stock things. Those little wacky moments in the games, as fun as they are its like a painfully straight guy with a painfully "wacky" tie, watch out Im a crazy guy with my crazy tie... Not rly mate, the tie alone isnt enough if youre not already a character, its just pinned on.

Theres a vague michael bay quality to it where its essentially just very boring and very safe with some slightly generic 'moments' thrown in to give it spice, but ultimatley it comes off like 'yeah we can let our hair down, just quickly reminding you we can be crazy guys with crazy gags before we drag you back into another hour of being the stereotypical straight laced good guy we know you want to be and have designed our entire game around."

Actually I didnt want to be Ban Afflec in generic hollywood good guy movie #147523, I wanted to be Denis Hopper from Blue Velvet, gimmie the gas mask and a COLD FKIN BEER!! theres a post apocalypse that needs some holes shot in it.

I love bethesda games, I really like fallout 4, but they are their own worst enemy. I feel like their entire team should be a large sub department of a better all round game studio, one where theres another department full of people who arnt socially recluse tech geeks and actually live with their hair down day in day out designing the part of the game thats always missing which is where it really lets lose and connects with people in a way a rolling out a string of cliches never will.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Very well written, Snorkle. I think the same way. It is not that i want to be the bad or crazy guy. But to have a greater field of choices would be better. Is it just me or does Fallout 4 way more ... narrow in terms of choices and how to play than NV or part 3?
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.
