Not sure if I understand the OP but selling something for a high price might not be a rip-off. And I am not sure if it is a very high price for an "almost perfect" Carcass or not. Those I have sold were only a few chaos but if it has 6 sockets (unlinked) then it is worth 20c because creating 6 sockets would cost a lot more than 20c.

Depends on if the stat on Mjölner is just a value they change or if they change the meaning of the mod like they did for Acuity. If it is the latter then there will be no legacy Mjölner.
there is no way to change the stat on mjolnir without it going legacy. Unless they change the entire chance to proc mod for every item that has it or will have it in the future.
Since its a numeric 50% if they change it to anything else there will be a legacy version

If the stat is "Chance to cast socketed lightning skills on hit" with a numeric value of 50 then it is going to be legacy. But if it is a stat which doesn't have a numeric value like the case with Acuity then it will not.
Someone who has data mined the game files perhaps can tell us what it is.

Seller is responsible if they get ripped off though. No one held a gun to that guys head to sell mojo for 26ex. Its sellers responsibility to do valuation not the buyers in a free transaction.
Do I think its shitty? Yes Would I do that? No. But at end of day caveat emptor in a totally free market like POE. There are no implied warranties, no returns no fraud provisions. So when you check that box that says accept those are the terms you are agreeing to and whats inside that two pane box.
I trade every log and you better believe I never been ripped off. Or at least I dont know about it lulz.:)

Im not justifying anything. It is what it is. Thats why we have things here in states like fraud law, Sherman anti trust etc which PoE does not have. again caveat emptor.
