Divination Cards
" Charan already made a joke in another topic :P "333 cards to redeem for The Goddess Bound, found only in normal twilight strand" |

I could see players designing rares they already own in standard just copied to a card to farm in future leagues.
Or for example a card that gives a white 6 link astral plate with a 12 guaranteed base mod. How about pets or mtx cards? The list could be endless. There comes a time thief when jewels cease to sparkle, gold loses it's luster, throne room becomes a prison, and all that's left is a father's love for his child. - King Osric

" Pretty sure that's not a joke. :) |

it's a joke because it's GGG which decide at the end where it can be farmed and how many card it requires.
By the way 333 cards for something that cost less than 1 ex sounds not really realistic. IGN TylordRampage Last edited by Malone#6946 on Apr 29, 2015, 11:07:02 AM

" Like with everything in POE, there is so much potential in every aspect of the game, especially with divination cards, that's why we love it :) but lately i just dont have high hopes for that potential to be fulfilled |

I think this is actually a love for self found. The biggest issue with self found was that you were unable to choose a build that needed a unique. Now you can get it, self found. I'm not someone who likes to play builds around uniques but I'm happy it's there, it will be a boost to the game, a lot of players will be motivated instead of demotivated when thinking about a very rare item.

" Hmm, thats weird, i have read like few weeks ago, someone quoted Chris, where he said "We like that in POE everything can drop everywhere policy" like mirror can drop in Twilight strand in normal i am not sure that i like that certain cards you can farm only in certain areas and restricting yourself from other cards..... |

Divination Cards are not strictly counter to the "everything can drop everywhere" policy.
Targeted farming does imply that some places are better than others for a given resource or item. I'm really happy that this means that GGG can "shard" rare materials, though. If it takes 20 cards to get a Mirror and each drops at 1/20th Mirror rarity, then people will be able to trade parts of mirrors instead of all or nothing. It's like adding nickels and dimes when all we have are dollar bills, which is a great thing. |

" well, if you drop an exalt it's like 1/185 of a mirror, nothing new. But I am not against new drop like cards, more drop = more fun. IGN TylordRampage
