Why don't physical builds use Vulnerability? Its basically 29% more damage

nope. It says "Enemies TAKE 25% increased damage" not "25% increased damage"

While its additive with other "Take" stats, it is multiplicative with all the additive stats u have.

It's same as shock, says increased but functions as more.. Quite obvious if you think the calculation through..

It still isn't very good, since most physical damage builds use a ton of elemental damage. Chances are, most physical builds would still be better off with elemental weakness.

I use Vul all the time :D

Pretty much this. Also a crit build always better off with assassins mark. Some of the defensive curses are preferable to vulnerability such as Poachers mark or Enfeeble imo.

Vulnerability should state "enemies take 50% increased melee damage" then more people would use it.

Most melee builds split damage between physical and elemental, usually favoring elemental.

For me, personally, because Warlords Mark and Enfeeble exist.

ditto. This game always requires that I invest heavily in defense so I almost always have to use those two curses or Assassins Mark.

Vulnerability is very good also for its second debuff, eg. a lot of my chars, especially the melees and hybrids, use one Searing Bond totem for support dmg. While Elemental Weakness/Flammability need to be leveled to at least 15 to become better than V, Vulnerability increases dot dmg by 33% on every level. And when I skill for dual curse, the second one mostly is a defensive one like WM.

mainly cuz if ur build isnt total dumpster u will deal more than 29% damage in time u would cast curse. u can vaal orb gloves tho for cast on hit vulnerability it helps.

I think that if it said "You'll do 30% more damage" increased amounts of people would use it.
