Not going to lie I am dreading this patch.

Don't pretend none of these changes where desirable for the game.

Anybody who actually wants to see this game move forward was wondering about most of this shit for the past year.

Glad GGG manned up and is actually going for it, irrelevant of repercussions.

Don't forget I_NO, i am always available for a hug <.o

Stuff like this is why developers are hesitant on giving out information on beta changes and the like, people will jump to conclusions on slivers of information.

Nothing is set in stone, if the feedback on a certain change is harsh enough they'll backtrack, just like they did with CI, even if it did take them a little while to find a solution they could deal with.

I'm cautiously optimistic as always at this stage. It's not my style to let early preconceptions and expectations ruin my day. I'm more of a "Think of the Possibilities!"-guy.

No superpowers, no gimmicks, no stats, items or DPS worth shouting about. The game is still fun, and a lot of that fun is the challenge.

I wouldn't read too much into the patch notes themselves, until the Beta testers have had a chance to see what GGG has going throughout the rest of the game for balance. I suspect the initial feeling will be an awakening for players used to cruising through the game on autopilot. I also suspect that GGG may have eased up on the instagibs later on in the game.

I am hyped up to hear how it goes.
