I have the recent update but still has black text and background

Both NeverSink and I have created test scripts for you to run if you're willing. I'd love to work with you to see if we can iron out what short term solution will fix it. PM me, and I'll get you the links if you're willing.

Hi, anybody can help me understand why "Hallowed Hybrid Flask" and other white/blue flasks without quality are so visible in the filter? Is there anything I should do with them?

Same question about blue jewels.

Hey guys!

I've isolated part of the font issue regarding neversink's filter, with help from some of the people who've experienced the issues.

Test Results

1. NeverSink's Filter - Full version:

2. nsf_full_font size test.filter:

3. nsf_full_no trans test.filter:

4. nsf_full_script size test.filter:

5. nsf_full_refactor.filter:

Tested my filter also to make sure my filter doesn't trigger any of the issues.

The main issue does lie in the font renderer, yes. But I've found a short term solution for those who want to implement it:

Solution or Font Renderer Issue

1. Open Neversink's Filter in Notepad ++ or other similar code editing tool.

2. find section - # 0615 # RARES - REMAINING RULES

3. change the font size (SetFontSize 31) to SetFontSize 32.

4. Search the entire filter for SetFontSize 31, and change to SetFontSize 32.

5. save and close.

If you run into any further trouble after making this modification, let me know and I'll help you resolve so you can use your filters now without issue.

Best wishes.

That is very interesting. I've handed a no-odd numbers font size version to some players, but it didn't change anything.

That being said, if it WILL help, that'd be pretty amazing. Thanks.

I might include some experimental changes into the next version (ETA 24h tops)

EDIT: That being said: I think I was too hasty. Currency was never odd-numbered and it's one of the things that keep bugging for players. I still think it's some memory allocation/preloading related changes.
Please don't PM me ingame with filter/guide questions, post them on the forum, after reading the FAQ.

I've tested every filter on my machine from the visual filter list. I've not experienced the bug once, personally, from any of them. I'm running on windows 10 with 8gb, gtx 970, and an amd 8320 fx core.

It doesn't seem to be all odd font sizes, just specific sizes, under certain conditions, on some machines. The people I've talked to regarding the issue run windows 7. I got it from solid source that these other font sizes have issue also on some systems - 27, 28, 34. I'll try to work out something more specific for you, but in the meantime, the above fix works for some as you can see in the screenshots.

Suggestion: Would it be possible to display one handed weapons with 3 white sockets? A possible outcome from a corrupted strongbox. Maybe this is already in place though.

Neversink's filter already covers this the best way possible with the current ruleset. Unfortunately we filter creators can only check color for socket groups, not how many of a specific socket color exist on an item.
