Well, haggling a 10c Rat's Nest is pretty retarded, yes. Though, haggling for a multiple exalt item is not in the least.

elitist nonsense!

Someone with 10 exalts will haggle the same as someone with 10 chaos.

no, but there is such a thing as rich and lonely.

Anyone who argues otherwise has never been in a position to know, and their argument is invalid.

For odd reasons, if you are rich enough in this game, the world will be against you, dispite all odds or right or wrong.

Something I'd like to pull up:

Why can't people learn to ignore bad buyers? I find it effective to be strict with them or just be a big troll like CabooseDog. :D (Nice image BTW)
I am awoo.
i agree with OP, being nice in trade just dont work. Last week i was clearing out 4 tabs of gems, i was offering batches of 30 to new players for free. Most trades went well, most players didnt even have HO so i had to go to act 1, no problem, but then you still get idiots who try to fool you, like one guy whose HO was full to the brim with decorations and had 4 masters, he even wanted me to take out particular gems, i left his HO and didnt bother trading, obv just wanted to flip. FUCK YOU FLIPPER MAN
Could just ignore the idiots you sometimes meet and move on, Exile..

Personally, I would have murdered their family with bananas, but that's not the point :3
Ugh effort

Spoiler

This is why you never trade with woodland creatures who have a steroid and lifting addiction.

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years.

Best of luck in the future!
Yeeeeeah... usually when I sell things that cheap people don't bother trying to haggle. If they do, I'll usually just ignore it. If I'm in a particularly annoyed mood, I might respond with the basic "I'm selling at 2/3 or 1/2 price so I am not interested in going lower" - sometimes they are flippers who will concede that you're right or sometimes they just honestly don't know the prices and haggle for everything lol.

Either way, just ignore them if they make you really upset.

I love that posting name-and-shame of BMBI's trading 'techniques' doesn't get moderated. He's probably reveling in it.

I figured he'd get a kick out of it too
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
A frustrating thing is when you're not trying to lowball but just don't know what price to expect, and the other guy simply won't tell you at what price they'd like to trade it and want you to make the offer.

Plus, trading is such a bother that I usually don't bother trying to sell, unless it's a good value unique that I'll throw out at a very good discount (and even then, there's still people trying to get it at critically lower prices).

I really hope we get a very good change to the trading system soon. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff I find some people may want but it's so complicated to trade that I just vendor all of it.
you know you don't have to reply to low offers. there is also the ignore feature.
