" An AH seems more attractive every day, right? Search by stats and/or orb cost. Trade offline. What would one want more? Oh wait, the poe.trade veterans who rip off noobz cant have fast easy offline trading, poor fear of profit loss. Stock market simulator be damned. |

Yes, AH is great!
Diablo3 has finally shown that an AH ist best for ... oh, wait! "better to simply go balls deep full retard if you gonna go retard." -Boem-

" What were you saying? AH was awesome, drop rate wasnt. Same thing in POE, drop rate is shit, AH non existent or at best you can call that 3rd party crap an AH, thats also shit. So yeah, again, whats your point, if you had one? And GGG would never add some RMTAH so an orb AH would make sense. Im sure youre one of those "plz no AH so i can rip off noobz in trades" kinda guys. Name 1 reason, i mean a real one, without mentioning the words RMAH and D3 as those things dont concern GGG, against an AH? |

"The value of your own items. Done. No matter what the droprate. It doesn't matter. There are thousands of people playing, and most of them want chaos orbs etc. That means they will all be selling their better items that they don't need, for a competitive price. This will mean you will always feel like your drops are crap based on seeing pages and pages and pages of people trying to sell gear that they don't need for their build, or is just under what they are wearing. No matter the situation this makes it easy to gear up beyond what you can find in game. Always. Which leads to feeling unsatisfied with your drops. So they buff the drops. Then it happens again. So then you introduce stronger items and power creep. Then it happens again. Repeat. I guess I will have to buy a one way ticket to hell with your lives

I have a (dumb i suppose) question, but my english is not so good.
What is the difference between the "price" and the "buyout", for me it's just like 2 same things... |

" And this doesnt already exist with poe.trade and trade chat and the noticeboard spam? If what you say is true then the game should either be 100% trading or 100% self found as there doesnt seem to be an inbetween. |

What we have right now is the in between. Not everyone is available all the time. It allows for SOME competition. Right now it is easier to gear up still with poe.trade. true. BUT we don't have EVERYONE using it. Lots of people use it, more would use it if it were a standard in game AH. It would devalue everything more.
Not to mention D3, but, that is what they realized. That is why they went self found. Now that is essentially what it is. I really don't want to see that here. I also don't want to see the other extreme where 99.99% of my drops are absolute crap. The game is playable self found. I have gotten to maps doing it. I have made my own 5 link lightning coil this league. It happens. However, that doesn't mean you won't go further with trading. Right now it is highly optional, with lots of benefit. I don't want it to be either nearly mandatory or completely unavailable. I agree that our current trade system is crap. I honestly do. I also agree that there could be improvements to it. However, I believe that if you make it too efficient it will break the game. Spamming trade chat sucks, and so does making games with trade titles. I would prefer that to instant gratification trading though. I have played games both ways. When it is instant trading and a mass market, you don't gear up anymore. You grind money. An items is worth x alts, and you need x alts to make your build. That is what it becomes, and I hate it. I guess I will have to buy a one way ticket to hell with your lives

" Has nothing to do with RMAH. AH is a frustrating "99,9% of all items are worthless" experience. The rest is unpayable for the most players. It's like a stock market simulation, with no personal contact between the participants. An thread based trade system, with a smart sorting/search function plus the addition of trading channels (for fast transfers) is imo the best system (but i like to see this implemented in an enhanced way here in this page with nn for 3rd party sites). " Yea, you're sure about things here pretty often, in pretty much ways. But mostly, you're wrong. Like here. See above. "better to simply go balls deep full retard if you gonna go retard." -Boem-

" What would be the problem though? Something worth some 150 ex could be worth only 50 ex or 5 or 10 chaos? People already do that, dont you see it? "i got 150 ex tell me a build i can make with it" kinda threads arent new. Shop to gear is here but its not fully for everyone, its for the super rich, like people IRL buying a yacht, or an island. I rather have everyone be on equal opportunity on trading, so what if shavs costs 5 chaos instead of whatever people demand now. |
