Failed to Connect to Instance [EU]

Got the same issue. O2 Alice in Germany.

If anyone from Grinding Gear is reading this, please post a warning in the technical support thread saying that users with O2 as their ISP are suffering major issues and should change to another provider. Trust me you will be doing everyone a favour. Even O2 I think, it certainly seems like they are just sick of having customers and are trying to get rid of us.

any 1 have new information or a fix for the disconnects yet?

The problems (with Alice) apaarently are solved now.

Yes, I just went trought all the vendors in all acts and difficulties. Got no DCs. Seems solved.

I am still changing ISPs. This and other packet loss issues have been affecting me intermittently for almost two years now and I am sick of it.

Today with the very, very little minipatch the problem with the login and with the instance changes are gone it seems.

The complete weekend nothing is gone,and it was permanently, but now it seems better, the only thing what was : as i was testing today at noon i could go between town and hideout or different waypoints ,so all ok
but than i was in a rare map und in the end of the map,i had a disconnect and with the relogin the portals were away and all my stuff in the inventory was gone ( 14 jewells and 1c for example) and it was like a roll back,in the condition at the early beginning of the map ( i had a rare shield in my inventory,which i was looting at mapstart) so in other words a rollback about so 10-12 minutes, what is really huge!

This could be the point which Duncan mentioned, maybe a problem with the ISP and a huge data package loose on the data highway... iam not sure what it was... and yes, i use O2 / Alice too ,so maybe its a Providerproblem too,at the moment i can only say for sure, with the miniupdate today the login/instance change issue is gone and it started with the friday patch(es).


Hmm maybe it is in the end not only one problem but a combination,yes it could be but on the other side i have no other problems with my internet. would be an idea to test it with other online games but Path of Exile is my only online game and its the only game i know with such fair conditions and a broad spectrum. ( and which works on my weak and old pc ^^ )

Nope, problem persists for me today.

got the problem now aswell, cant even login! It throws me back to the character selection and freezes there telling me in the bottom left corner failed to connect to instance
