The ring is good for low level characters who don't have to deal with the -60% penalty of Merciless. Both 10% elemental resistance and 22% chaos resistance are outclassed by mods found on other rings, and as for the unlucky modifier, your biggest risk remains chaos damage, which will for the most part be unaffected. Hmm? I see it like this. A level 20 Added Chaos Gem does 87–131 damage, mean 109. Roll 1: 90 Roll 2: 124 Actual attack does 90 damage. Of course it would make the most difference against lightning attacks. I'm not actually sure how to calculate the mean damage taking into effect the new ring. Brutus. Do you even sync?
