I love this game and I love path of exile, but something is seriously wrong with the balance team if they cleared that chest for the live game.

The penalty can be cleared by popping a flask charge, also.

That is a REALLY good point.

I don't think you understand the implications of using that chest... Let's go through them shall we?

1. totem level 14, meaning they die if a white mob even looks at it.
2. Every fucking time a totem IN ANY WAY DISSAPEARS, you get a random level 20 curse casted onto you.. These stack INDEFINITELY. you can have ALL curses through this.
3. The chest offers little no absolutely no survivability compared to alternatives.

1. Use spell totem gem, don't have to worry about it, and still get the benefit of 3 totems.

Just because you pay for it to get made, doesn't mean that you will see it. RNG can be a bitch at times.

Mirror doesn't block the curses, we just talked about this.

Getting every single curse on me doesn't seem like a good idea , i'll just stick with 2 totems.

Doesn't porting back to town clear curses?

Will any of you please tell me which of the curses in this game, let alone EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM being cast on you simultaneously... Actually poses a threat? Considering you have a 7 linked spark totem that's surrounding you forming a triangle with the floor moving around over saturated with spark spam X 3?

The only scenario a curse would be threatening to me if it was Doom or something with a set timer to make me explode. What? That Warlord's mark making you give extra charges to your enemies on death or life leech?



I didn't really mean it when I said it's pay to win. I just said it to get everyone talking about this. Because I seriously don't think being cursed, even with several curses at a time, balances against having 7 links.

Especially in the case of spark totem, where it's the flavor of the month and it's guaranteed to provide easy results for anyone using it as is.
