Like many have said, it's a super rare unique that requires some work to get equipped, more work to get working properly. Then even more stuff (Volls, 6L Coil/Shavs, Romira's, Saffell) to make it really powerful and then even more stuff to make it powerful enough to trump Uber Atzi (21 corruptions, specific corruption on belt etc.) and even then there are builds with more damage and better ability to kill uber.

Even then its damage isn't that great on single target and is basically hardcapped by the gem levels in Mjölner (and there's no possibility to skyrocket the damage with mirrored items) and even then you fuckers call out for a nerf?

Again, Mjolner is balanced; discharge is out of whack.


As far as CoC, the problem isn't necessarily that it's too powerful, it's that it makes balancing self-casting a nightmare.

Why would you care so much. He spent HIS time planning and finetuning the build, getting the currency to fuel it and leveling the char, not yours.

He probably spent 12+ hours a day for months farming and leveling, all while you're fapping to porn. Then he streamed his uber kill, made a guide and you watched one of his kill vids. Seeing how easy HE did it, you decided to stop fapping for 1 minute and put on your nerf police hat and post a nerf call thread.

A 200ex worth build should be OP. The build is fucking expensive for the general players, only the dedicated can gather that much. But being expensive alone isn't worth jack shit, without a really good skilltree and playstyle.

Instead of you being salty/jelly/whatever negative feeling you have, why don't you go take a look at his skilltree and learn why he built it that way. It's a carefully planned tree with balanced defense and offense, that can only be utilised to its max potential with the expensive gears he used. With a good tree and gears, and played by one of the best players, of course he's gonna make it look easy.

So stop lurking in the forum with that jelly mindset and go play PoE for real, so that you can be the next havoc. I know you got this bro!

learn? whats there to learn? it is not like what he did was some sort of magical secret. most op builds rely on the unbalanced mechanics of a few things.


for shatter chuck a huge part was the stupid quality bonus on blood rage,

for mjolnir it was discharge's stupid damage coupled with an unchecked proc mechanic and an unchecked power charge generation mechanic.

fix even one of those and the build would still be powerful but it would not be MILES ahead of 99% of builds.

seriously it does not take a genius to put very obvious mechanics together. what it takes is the money needed to buy the unique items that put those mechanics together

way to put words in my mouth. Not once did i say mjolnir builds are the best , that would imply there is only one thing wrong with game balance .... when the reality is that there is a metric ass fuck ton of problems with game balance.

mjolnir is just one example in a group of examples that need a bullet to the head.

I don't like Mjolner, but I don't blame it, either.

I blame Ramira's. It is a unique whose entire purpose is to make an absolute mockery out of any mechanic which is supposed to be limited by power charge availability.

There's not really much to be said, Scrotie. Mjolner has been a scapegoat ever since it was released streamers showed how powerful it could be. We've been round and round this merry-go-round.

I still stand by my position that discharge is the culprit, and anyone who disagrees can kindly go make some video showing how absurdly broken it is without discharge.

But Ramira's is the real problem. Same challenge - show me OP Discharge Mjolner without Ramira's.

Like, no one even uses Discharge anymore, except for Mjolner. It's not that OP a skill, until/unless you make charge production stupid.

L90 Tornado 2ex (all items)
L93 my own version of fakener 18ex (just volls ammu)
L90 life mjölner 55ex
L90 solarica low life mjölner 58 ex
L93 Shav low life mjölner 120ex (without rings belt helm shield glove and boots)

Iam also playing since closed beta,
and i can say low life mjölner is strong.
But when i compare to all my other builds i played,it ISNT op.
