I actually had a dream once that I could multiply exalts and eternals and craft gg gear. Seems this guy was living my dream.

Really good story. I loved to read it and probally he is not the only one lol.

Just goes to show you how bad PoEs crafting system is when you need full invos of ex and et etc orbs to craft even 1 item

How GGG think people can do this... no idea unless we hack/dupe/etc so they have themselves to blame not the dupers

I wish i could craft some of my gear but the amount of orbs id need i would have t begin crafting at least 10 years from now (or 20) and so this is why we can't have nice things

3x full inventory of exalted orbs and eternals to craft a nearly perfect item ? Cool motivation for a casual like me. Looking forward to craft an item like that myself... not.
Actually I never saw an eternal orb drop. Now I just need to collect hundreds of them.

So, we are paying for desync to avoid cheating...and what we get ? Cheats everywhere..

I find it interesting how GGG has unique item IDs for everything except currency.

Kind of goes to show why they can't stamp down RMT even if they wanted to; can't trace the transactions so all they need to do is shuffle currency between mules to keep the bank mules safe.

I don't know if he did this, but he could've just transferred his duped gear or currency to multiple accounts. So if one account got banned, he'll move onto the next and etc. If he did that, kudos to him. If GGG is smart enough to track all of that and delete them, then kudos to GGG.

Turns out that story was deeper than we ever guessed at the time.

My bad for instantly calling him an RMTer who bought eternal orbs when it came to light originally, apparently my faith in GGG that their game wouldn't have legitimate flat out item dupes in game was misplaced.


Kudos to all those who defended him and said he didn't buy the orbs. You were right!

Well...

I can only imagine there were many more people doing this. GG. If anyone who reads this has some mirrors to spare i would greatly appreciate one.
