We agree but disagree about a lot when it comes to "economy=balance" so Ill just leave it at that ^-^

When it comes to balance the builds that exploit things the most are low life. I simply can't deny that. The ability to run all the purities paired with aura nodes and flask effect, along with certain (what would be legacy uniques, now zana uniques) allow for some crazy combos and expensive builds.

In terms of the game needing to be balanced around these builds, idk, the cost is pretty insane, as a new player the only way you are going to get the wealth to do this (in less then many months of playing) is to RMT. The best RNG can do to help you is drop a mirror, even then that isn't enough for the complete cost of the build, not to mention you have to know what a mirror is worth when it drops.

I understand the game is suppose to be challenging, I really do. But at the same time you are also building up a character and investing into it. When you are level 90+ with 200+ ex of gear, you better feel like you are god. The enemies you are playing against are at least 10 levels below you, sometimes more.

As far as if the cost=balance, I am not saying that 300ex builds should just close their eyes to play the game, but there isn't actually 1 single low life build that stands out more then the rest like before (spec throw). Now its mjolner, spec throw, wander and shatter chuck, maybe there are more, but these are the ones I know much about.

To me its less cost = balance, but more can this be replicated in a league? I seriously doubt anyone will do uber in bloodlines, the map itself its extremely dangerous (filled with blue packs) Out of all the ones I think shatter chunk would probably have the best chance, but still extremely risky compared to previous leagues.

game is amazing, way better than anything else out there, they just need to keep improving things like they have been. I think people get jaded and personally give up on the game, either they have decided they will never be able to be rich so they give up trying and hence fulfill their own paranoia, or they think the game is broken because they dont really know what theyre doing but their ego wont accept its their lack of experience, its so whatever tbh. I think they will keep listening to constructive criticism and keep just ignoring people banging their head on a wall like desync, thank god.

Less then a year ago my total wealth had to be less then 20ex, no after a year (and no large drops, nothing over 8ex ever dropped for me) I have over 200ex of gear in value. Did I flip the market no, did I come up with a way to make money that was both fun for me and beneficial to some players yes. If anyone is interested in the write up I can find it.

I dont remember crying about wealth. Can you link me to where I did that? I can be handed a 10000 exalt goodie bag tomorrow, but that wont change the fact mjolner's % proc rate and its interaction with LS needs to be toned down. KB + pierce was, why the double standard with mjolner?

Do you not understand that, lowlife or not, mjolner is just too damn powerful when you can just not take a single ounce of % damage and output waaaay more damage than a build that has to invest so much? And thats without any crit or shocks. There is too damn many procs of arc / discharge going on in a single second its broken. Not OP, broken. Lowlife might be a bit OP, mjolner is broken.

To answer your question before, yes mjolner needs a tone down whether we are talking about a 200 ex mjolner build or a lower cost one (stupid seeing as mjolner itself is like 50 ex)

You keep making this a wealth / league / jealousy / uber atziri thing. I used uber atziri as an example of how mjolner's dps *without investment* can shit on 100k hp white mobs and 2 mln hp bosses. It is the ultimate endgame and toughest test in the game and one item trivializes it ... regardless if its a lowlife build or an HP build or a CI build. Imagine what it does to other content.

50% on mjolner is too high, it should be limited to one lightning spell ideally, and / or there needs to be an ICD or proc cap with its molten / lightning strike interaction. Stop double standards GGG. You fixed kinetic blast bug, fix this shit. But yeah, you dont want to upset the RMTers I understand.

He just doesnt understand how the 1000 procs things is so disgustingly broken, and its '50% to hit' on top of that, not crit, so you dont need points into crit or any points into spell dmg at all. Unlike COC builds or ST / wander builds that dedicate points to crit / WED etc.

For nerfing, prolly too late. They'll just create legacies to not upset the rmters. What a shitty way of doing things, leaving legacies. Guess I will keep thinking of scrubcore / dumpster league as irrelevant / nonexistent.
