EU Connectivity Issues

We have had a lot of reports about connectivity issues for European Users over the Christmas period. Our server technicians have determined that the problems are due to ISP-level routing issues within Europe and that everything we are directly able to influence is working correctly.
Our European server host is willing to work with other ISPs to resolve these issues, so additional information in the form of WinMTR reports would be appreciated. Awesome will keep an eye on these issues. I keep runing WinMRT now while playing !!! I just updated my post in technical account support section.

I'm having problems loading some sites that are probably also hosted in Europe but when i do speed test everything looks good so it might be a wide EU problem.

Made a thread
This post is a copy of my OP. Hello Everyone.. I'm not a technical person... So this will just be based on my best guesses. Last night while I was playing Torment on my noob witch, something happened on GGG side of the game. I was farming catacombs like I do most of the time, but all the sudden whenever I tried to go to marketplace, my game would DC. I tried going to marketplace 3 times and I got DC all 3 times, then I tried going to other places without any problems. Sad to have lost the ability to farm catacombs, I went to destroy the docks. While I was there I notised something a bit strange... My latency was perfect... I mean it was just insisting on staying at 31-32, spiking once in a while to like 40-70, but then immediately going back to 31-32... Over the last week latency issues(250-1500 average) have made it very hard for me to play, I even downloaded AutoHotkey, just for the /oos button... But since whatever happened last night, I have never experienced PoE to run so well. My best guess is that whatever crashed at GGG side, was broken... PLEASE DONT FIX IT! Was it a server? No idea... Did something even crash? I have no clue... But SOMETHING happened and it was good... Don't take my amazing latency from me GGG!!! PLEASE! |
