Completetely agree! I'm not saying all of the people I report truly deserve a reprimand, but I'm just doing my part, you know?

So I'm just wondering, would the name Retarded_Was_Alesia be considered offensive and get me muted / banned?

All my characters have been named after Guild Wars NPCs. Alesia was a notoriously retarded healer hireling and the name 'Retarded Was Alesia' is a long standing joke in Guild Wars.

Eh, I'm not THAT bad. Truth be told, it depends on my mood. I happen to get the GW reference, so it's hard for me to consider it offensive at all, even from a neutral point of view.

Because we ask you to. We can't be in every single global chat. That's VERY CLEAR now.

Thus the Report button.

We want no guilt associated with using it. No hesitation. No shame.

Keep in mind that abuse of it will result in some pretty severe repercussions -- every report sends us a good sample of the chat at the time so we can tell when someone's Reporting just to be spiteful.

So, I think you should probably drop your argument now, Dex. We WANT people to use the Report button. Actively. Profusely.
