So do the enemies it reflects off of remain shocked? If not I have a hard time seeing a real use for 10% damage buff. If they have the 50% and you get an additional 60%, on top of celestial punishment I might actually use this, otherwise I feel it's not worth using at all with being permanently shocked.

Also there is a difference between MORE and INCREASED. It's not 10%



the shock is not removed from monsters, the reflected mod doesnt work that way, the mobs will still be shocked, same with the unqiue shield, atziris mirror(reflect curses, you still are cursed but so are the monsters).
I would like to add, i really like the design of this, however i would have hoped as part of the unique attribute it would allow a double shock-stack (both on mobs and wearer), while reducing the % damage if shocked to like 20% or so.

Would have been a twisted dps vs risk item.

It still is btw and i already like the design as is, but this would have given it another dimension imo.

If it's real. I LOVE this belt. I'm thinking 2x mokou's embrace + this will inflict terrible terrible damage onto my foes. And I suppose it increases chaos damage as well. So Chaos damage it is!! Of course I'd have to use this in Bloodlines. And even if I RIP several times it's likely to be pretty affordable =p

Yeah I'm thinking claws, herald of thunder, and as much fire and chaos damage I can muster.

this belt will be good for 3 things

1) leveling in non-HC ... at high levels or endgame i would never use this
2) skin transfer... assuming that globe transfers over too
3) vendor

if you dont try to use it's unique feature this belt gives you ES and 1-50 lightning damage, that is it, no resists, life or any other beneficial stats.

if you use it's unique feature it is going to be a big "kill them before they kill you" fight. your best bet is to use skills that can kill off screen. im not sure if this will work for dual totem, first im not sure if the shock will be reflected to you or your totem, and if the reflect is on your totem will the effect still work? it will be annoying trying to roll shocking ground mod for all your maps

devourers will be awesome with this belt equiped

If the latter, this is just another skin transfer unique.

60% increased spell damage is like 3-4 passive nodes on the current tree. Hardly worth taking +50% damage.

60% increased damage for a voltaxic user could be interesting, but the reason people use voltaxic generally is to not die, not to get tons of DPS, and this belt is counter to that philosophy. Not saying it couldn't or wouldn't be workable, but 10 ex for this belt is silly IMO.

60% *increased* damage is just not that meaningful a mod compared to 50% increased damage taken. Honestly, the 15% increased move speed is the most interesting stat here IMO.
