Does this function as 60% more damage? Or is it just additive with other damage increases on gear/passive tree?

If the latter, this is just another skin transfer unique.

Or try thinking.

Here's one little thought train for you.. voltaxic.

Here's another.. spells.

I'll leave it at that ;)

One has surfaced on standard eventually.

60% increased spell damage is like 3-4 passive nodes on the current tree. Hardly worth taking +50% damage.

60% increased damage for a voltaxic user could be interesting, but the reason people use voltaxic generally is to not die, not to get tons of DPS, and this belt is counter to that philosophy. Not saying it couldn't or wouldn't be workable, but 10 ex for this belt is silly IMO.

60% *increased* damage is just not that meaningful a mod compared to 50% increased damage taken. Honestly, the 15% increased move speed is the most interesting stat here IMO.

Who the hell mentioned 10 ex?
You are aware Piscators were going for 20 ex the day they landed?
People charge and pay silly prices, for a number of reasons, at first.

And btw, I'd love the luxury of 3-4 passive points.
Casually casual.

3-4 extra passive points of damage is nice, but 50% increased damage taken nullifies a lot more than 3-4 passive points of defensive investment (life/ES/etc).

Veil of the Night level of garbage, this is not. But its best use is going to be as a skin transfer. In PvE anyways.

Wow that's a really impressive unique, some will shrug it away because they don't understand how you could apply it but I do.

Plus SHINEY!! Excellent design 10/10!

i suppose its because its the totem dealing the damage gets the shock return, and since its already deployed its seperate from your tooltip since they are getting shocked post deployment.

So if the shock return IS applied to your totems by themselves, have you been able to notice if they 'seem' to deal any more damage when they shock themselves?

interesting to find out if its best to shock yourself then deploy or if you can leave it to the totems to buff up themselves.

I tried to get shocked from a mob and then cast totems and it worked.
