Acuity is not worth 200 ex

I would never pass up Acuity for shavs.... You'd have to be a straight up fool.

I assume they are children and simply weren't taught yet how to argue without getting angry and insulting the other side of an argument. I'd like to plead with moderators to not punish them for their personal attacks at me, they simply don't know better and their rage doesn't get to me anyways. Hopefully they will learn to express their views better as they grow up.

To summarize a little:

- 200 exalted is more than a set of 6l Shavs and dual Void Battery costs.
- The price is exorbitant and as many here have admitted often artificially inflated, a part of it by overzelous build creators who want to include as expensive items as they can to validate their build to the public without much regard to newbie or poor players following that build without any hope to ever even be near a pair of acuity in all their game lifetime.
- Demand at this price nearly does not exist (botters, RMT-ers mostly? how many exalteds have you found during rampage?), unsold pieces pile up, and this demand will shrink further as new leagues begin.
- Acuity bubble in standard will crash badly, those who bought at 100 ex in hope to double their investment will end up owning that piece of acuity for a very long time. I assign a good bit of anger directed at me to those people having lost a lot of exalteds trying to flip or farm acuity in hope to get paid 200 ex. Which most likely will never happen. They'll just rot in your stash, being a bitter memory of a bad flip decision.
- The item itself isn't that good at all. The stats of it, the fundamentals here, the fact that it's a pair of gloves to begin with, make it into nothing more than a useful accessory.

Counter-argument is screamed through tears that I'm a stupid troll and don't know economics (I actually have a degree in it but oh well, maybe you know it better...) and don't know people and don't know POE and that all those acuities will sell at 200 ex and the price will go even higher. If so, feel free to disregard my appeal to wake up and realize the bubble created on the price of this item, buy all the 200 ex acuities and post them for 201, 203, 210, 250 or more ex at XYZ to make even more profit. Because if the demand is so high and the price is right, it can only go up, right?

Either case, you've been given a fair warning to wait with buying as it's not a good time to do so. Ultimately though, what you do with your exalts is up to you. Vendor them if you like (probably more profitable than trying to flip acuity right now). :-)
