What would happen if currency became untradable?

I dont care about games that much that i would be worried about something like that. Real matters more, though i guess not for other gamers, they practically live in the game.

I would probably pick up D3 again.
Trading would become very inconvenient therefore acquiring build defining items would become very inconvenient. I could live with the effect it has on rares, but I'd be very sad about not being able to acquire things like cloak of defiance. I've had more exalt drops than build defining unique drops and those are any such uniques, not the specific ones you'd need for a build. At that point, may as well just play D3 because the most interesting part of PoE(making an awesome build with lots of synergies) would be gone and all that would be left is the extremely repetitive gameplay. It would be too much like an SFL and that would suck beyond belief. |

Did you know that most(or probably all) PoE players are compulsive hoarders of exalts? :D It feels wrong if exalts are in a stale number, making this untradable would mean quitting because the need to hoard is not getting sufficed.

Thats not a good idea as we all have different areas we may be focusing on. Like for the longest time (months) I had zero use for Regals. Traded 50 at time to ppl for currency I needed. like fuse because a guy alreday 6Led his chest but is making a GG dagger and needs regal..
