Hi, You will notice that the 1000+ evasion buckler is just a suggestion in the rich folks section.

A 1 chaos crest of perandus is viable with this build for all but a few bosses, and is very easy to get.

Eh it's cool. I'm currently wielding thousand teeth temu since im already at max res, just when I got to crafting an item I realised it's not easy getting the mods you want. Great build still, it has kept me alive so far.

Thousand Teeth is a good affordable option. Yes, crafting is very much like playing in a casino in this game. here's a guide to the basics of crafting.

The crafting is a pain in the proverbial, although masters have alleviated this a little.

Previously, if you had an item with good stats, you just rolled exalts against it (or if really flush, used eternal imprints so you could do over if it turned up crappy). Master tables allow you to put the mod you want at ~60% power of a top roll, which when you consider things like getting attack speed and making an item godly, vs elem resist and bricking it to just another POS, is invaluable.

eg. for an armour/evasion shield, your first chance of a top tier mod in the item you want (+evasion) is 1 in 37, assuming there isn't some weighting towards lower tier mods. When you stretch that over 3 prefixes, the odds get pretty hard.

I prefer the random process of hitting mobs, each new rare item is like rolling a chaos orb on an old one, but infinitely cheaper.

The guys that craft the absolutely insane all top mods items follow the process, then usually waste a few ex divining hoping for max stats. Even a 350 pure phys dps claw can easily cost 15-20 ex to roll up when you consider the exalts/eternals consumed. Until you are in a position where currency is literally no longer an issue, I would heavily suggest that you use your orbs purely as currency and opportunistically pick up items from trade (as painful as it is).

Well, now that we have masters, I think crafting has become affordable to everyone as a means to get midrange gear (unfortunately, you still have to play the Et/Ex game to get godly gear).

Anyways, I tried out my other gear set, which uses Lazhwar and Rainbowstride and sacrifices MF for significantly more Life. I was astonished to note how much it trivialized the game. I went from having to use all my pots against Dominus (and sometimes port back) to easily facetanking him. Let's not even mention Voidbearers, who went from insanely annoying to minor threats.

I think Spell Block is broken in this game...

Yes, masters are a good option! I don't know of a great guide for the master crafting, but the wiki is pretty good (link). Just click the name of each master to see what you can craft with each (not replying to anyone here, just for general info for people reading this thread.)

I think high spell block is essential for certain map bosses and a couple of the rogues. I see other builds die to these routinely.
Hello all,

After Taking my Lazy Pally Templar to Lvl85/86, i recently did some major respec to the character and converted it to a dual wielder cleaver. I could not resist doing it thanks to Mr. Vagan for turning my two so-so 1handers to almost superb one-handers.
Spoiler

Although i maxed my 20/20 reave gem, i had to opt to cleave gem due to it's recent buff + axe usage. Now i am doing insane 42K dps (my Cleave is at lvl15 so expecting more DPS later and also using only Alpha Howl as unique) and wrecking through monsters. Loving it so far.

Had a great time with Lazy Pally, but now i am going more "offense is the best defense" route. Although i am missing 15% block + 45% spell block tanky quality from the lazy pally route, i kill so fast that sometimes i had to judge by loots that i killed an exile or boss :P THis buidl is tanky enough but not Lazy Pally Tanky :D, my yet to die at end game maps.

I am posting here to thank Sovyn for his guide and prompt reply & updates. My new build is based on his core build just replaced shield block nodes with dual-wield nodes.

Cheers all.

Hi Sovyn, I've reached level 81 using this build on Beyond.

However, I need an upgrade (affordable please, it's beyond :p ),
Here is my current build and gear.

Build
Spoiler

because I'm using lazhwar and rathpith, I respecced and modify my passives to duelist rather than spell block nodes on witch area. (need your input on these)

Gear
Spoiler

I got 75% block and spell block, lack of hp (3,7k), armor (3k with determination), and dps (9,3k with hatred only). I also find it too difficult to attack using mana (only 67 unreserved mana). Rest are good.
If you can think of few affordable option to optimize my gear, it'll be great. And yes, I'm using tabula rasa because I can't purchase 6l carcass/LC or even rare in beyond atm :P

Thanks for the update archzin! I agree that once you have a lot of experience with the game as you do, you can get by with a bit less defense and go more offense. But still, if one wants to be able to solo *every* boss, I find the more tanky the better! Best of luck with your new spec. :)
I want to say "thank you" for the build. I haven't played Path of Exile since open beta, and was behind on a lot of things concerning the game. The walkthrough of this build and your extremely detailed explanation of the complimentary mechanics made everything a breeze. I haven't had trouble on one boss or mob yet, and am enjoying it all very much. Still looking to improve a few pieces of gear, but what I currently have gets all maps I've tried (up to lvl 78) done with 0 error. Anyone coming back from hiatus, or just looking for a very fun and very easy build should definitely try this one.
