Odds of finding Zana in a map

I have been trying really hard to find Zana on my own in a map. I've gone from lvl 65 to 77 in maps and still haven't found her. I've mostly been running lvl 66/67 maps for the fast clear times.

On average how many maps does it take to find Zana for everyone else?

She seems really erratic. At times I'd find her three times out of 10 maps and sometimes it takes around 30 for one.

It may be my own bias but I think she's the most common master in maps. Still lots of RNG that can fail you though.

Well it's 20% to have any master spawn and then she's one of 7, so it's theoretically around 2.8% chance of her spawning. However I find she's more common than other masters in maps, so maybe she takes a larger chunk of that 20%.

I've had 3 in ~40. 2.3% seems really low. They don't tell us stuff like this so it's best guess time. The more annoying thing is that all three times have been "kill 3 rogue exiles in four minutes". Yah... not going to happen.

Just skip the enemies and track the red dots on your map.

Thanks for the advice... but I play HC. Skipping through enemies, risking death to complete some stupid mission, isn't wise.

Source on the 20%? I don't think I've ever gone longer than 3 maps in a row with no master.

I've probably run around 70 maps. Have gotten volrick at least 10 times and no one in the party has him as a master.

Guess I just have to keep trying.

It is even more annoying to also get a map with double reflect (physical and elemental) which I got two times in a row. And taht with a physical bow (spiced up with some elemental damage from auras) using Lioneye's. Good that I have a poison arrow leveled up but still pretty bad.
